What colour should I select as my curtain? My bedroom is grey.

My wardrobe laminate is white with pale grey stripes, but the grey paint makes it look dull and washed out. Bedframe is black with off-white centre. Should I use a off-white curtain with slight sheen? How can I make my room less dull? I've also bought a chandelier with see through grey crystals.

I would definitely consider an off white colour as this will be a safe, and probably more attractive option with the colours your stated on your bed. However the sheen may not go well with the green and white laminate, if the chandelier go well with the decor of the room then I think going for a sheen finish could easily finish off the room! However if not it could really make your room have two contrasting style schemes. Off white would also look good, but if you like a bit a glam, then a sheen finish is a fantastic option!

What other stuff do you have in your room? Is it possible to upload a picture as many 'minds' can make light work lol. We cannot really comment on adding things to brighten it up but I am sure there are designers on Houzz that can help. :)

I love the colours grey, gold, pink and navy blue. I saw this palette in a magazine once and it is amazing. So if you already grey in your room try those colours for classic, cool and bright!

What a great room! If you enjoy the general Monochromatic feel of your room I'd go with white or silver (see 'option2' photo) and let your accent pillows do the accenting! The blue hue on the wall actually simplifies your color options. Either pull that color in through a patterned application as mentioned above (see 'option1' photo) or just stick to silver/white. Number 2 and number 4 ...out of the new pictures you have just posted Wouldn't put a dressing table beside the bed... If you want one......And have room for one ... I would have thinner bedside tables and then have your dressing table else where in the room....if not Maybe a nice romantic chair ..the other side

I would suggest a neutral colour curtain fabric. Whether its sheen or not depends on what you like personally. I would then further find some cushions (colour of your choice) for the bed and perhaps even a bed throw. These items are interchangeable easily and are cost effective to replace if you get tired of any colour that you had chosen. Be brave with the colour choice and play. Look at textures as well.
