Design Dilemma Paint

Choosing Paint Colors

My living room basically consist of light wood tones furniture and i have two black sofas. My flooring is beige marble. What wall paint colors would go well?

I think if you select a wall color that is too well coordinated to the tile, it will only bring out the vibrant pattern in the tile. So pick colors you like. Let your personal style and the vibe of the rooms dictate the colors. Your walls, furnishings and accessories will take center stage so you won't really notice the tile. Area rugs will down play the tile too. Ceilings are a great opportunity to add color also.

Your home looks cozy. Cant really tell what is the existing colour on the walls? Is it white? Try painting a sample of sage green. Look at a tone that you like. If all else fails, speak to a creative designer who could come to your home and help you re-look your space.

Hi, I agree with Gary, do a hotel setting to make it more appealing. Here’s an idea. Remove the partition, move the closet down and add a big slider freeing up the space for a spacious bedroom with lounge seating/dining by the window. Think about the tv wall where it can have a proper work desk space. And do you have balcony? Perfect !

Hi! I looking for a area rug for my new house and I got a very good offer from a carpet shop which is the Persian rug 293X387cm (attach pic 1 ) 1)I am not sure does it suit my furniture in the living hall ? My entrance (from the main door) will put a big console table (pic 2) then will come place a white or beige color two seater fabric sofa(similar layout as pic 3) and a coffee table in the center ( haven’t got it yet , please recommend) and two single wooden chairs (pic 4)with a matching round table on the side. What I am worried is the design of the carpet is too eye catching, will it goes well with my furniture and layout ? Should I choose another design which is smaller (248X332cm) in lighter color ?
