Newly renovated home

When this newly built high rise apartment was handed over to us it was mainly just like a plain canvas. No doors, no floors & no kitchen cabinets. So we get some ideas here, mix & match them to make them look more welcoming. We love the traditional wainscoting classy look. So here's what we've done so far.

Beautiful...keep posting. That's wonderful to have a blank canvas. I've always had to work around what's already there.

I haven't had renovator's remorse, but my friend's parent did. He wasn't happy with the size of the loungeroom and figured that because he had 'some' experience with removing walls, it'd be easy as pie. It wasn't.

Hi yoyo188, that's a very detailed plan! Looks fine with me, except I have a concern regarding the dining area. (The following done with Houzz Sketch function!) Just wondering if some of the guests at the dining table might potentially be facing the shoe rack? Thanks everyone! I was contemplating on fixing up the wainscoting since it's not very common here in my country. I'm glad I did and it does make a huge difference the way it looked now.
