Comments (2)sorry don't like the leather sofas or the coffee table. Too chunky and low to the ground. I don't like the break effect next to the greeny yellow wall, I would make it one solod color. I don't know why that stuff is lying on the floor but it looks messy...See MoreTufted Round Ottoman for Your Home
Comments (2)I'm sorry, but I thought the middle ottoman was a baked potato before opening your "discussion". And seeing the dark brown ottoman in a larger pic.... I can't think of a kind word to describe it. If my dog left one of those on my floor he'd be in trouble....See MoreNeed help to update bathroom
Comments (8)if you lighten the cabinets etc, then the stone will appear more prominent. if that is what you want, that is fine. I sensed that you did not like the current counter. I would contact a marble/granite installer to see if they think that the cracks can be filled and polished out. it is pretty common to do this on new installations if it is feasible. they may try to charge you as as much as you would spend on a fabricating a counter out of a new slab if they did not do the original installation....See MoreWhat's the difference between 'Contemporary' and 'Modern'?
Comments (1)Hi Olivia, A very good question indeed and one that is often "inter-used". Contemporary furniture or architecture is that of the times of NOW and is ever evolving with the times and technology and trends. Fashion often sets the trend of design and colour etc. Contemporary design is ever evolving and is not tied down to one specific style and is often quite eclectic. Modern furniture or architecture and design on the other hand is strangely enough from the 1920s to the 1950s pre and during the industrial revolution. Where machinery was used to create and build rather than made by hand. One often hears of Mid century modern and in Singapore at the moment one hears "retro". It all refers to modern style and design. The term is rather deceiving and one can be easily confused. These days the term modern can also refer to interior and furniture with clean lines. That would be contemporary modern style. Ha ha... Did i manage to confuse you even more? Hope that my simple explanation helps you?
