Need help on my kitchen....

I find that this kitchen layout does not utilize the space efficiently. One of the challenge is that the kitchen has many doors. The current fridge location also seem to be in an akward position. I am prepared to do something to the wall between the living room and kitchen, however, I dont think I would like a completely open kitchen. I have also tinkered with the idea of moving the wall between the living room and kitchen by 2ft to make the living room bigger. I would appreciate any ideas to utilize the space more efficiently. Thanks.
