Industrial-Scandinavian Style. Enduring Classic or Overused?

One of Singapore's most popular styles at the moment is the Industrial-Scandinavian aesthetic. It's a combination of minimalist, neutral toned interiors and furnishings, combined with the raw textures of brick, metal, and other materials. A beautiful example is below.

Will this be an enduring style, here to stay? Or has it been over-used, past it's use-by date? Please leave your comments below.

Classic style! It's here to stay.
Take it off the shelf! It's over-done!

Take it off, its over done. Unfortunately its here to stay, as its an easy and quick solution which does not require much imagination.

Black skirting with contrasting floor color?!?!? Too much black lines. Ceiling looks terrible with those black lines. Blinds also black vertical lines.
