Comments (5)maybe a high upholstered banquette directly across from the kitchen? It will create a nice definition of space and can fell very luxurious. A banquette is also a great space saver. and often seats more people than a standard chair at a table If you use a long pedestal table you can slide it under the seat of the banquette when not in use. That leaves a wider path for you to get to the living room area by the windows....See MoreNeed Help to renovate the Kitchen
Comments (2)Hi Alice, that's a really good question - challenging dilemma with a strong limitation (no hacking!) but I believe workable. Would you consider making changes to the backsplash? Adding some strip lighting will help too. Given the pink checkered floor tiles cannot be changed, I'd favour going for very neutral and clean looking cabinetry - to reduce visual clutter and bring in some harmony. Regardless of colour of finish choice, I prefer cabinetry that's not see-through. How about natural wood finishes: All-white with wood countertops might work as well: I leave it to the professionals to give their advice!...See Moreneed help on kitchen island
Comments (11)Hi, I am currently renovating my kitchen. Pictures of my tiles are below. I love wood grain cabinets. However, i am at odds as to whether I should get wood grained or solid coloured laminates. My designer told me that I can only choose from Arova n Jennings brand. He does offer EDL as well. But I do not like the solid colours from any of these laminate companies. A solid black colour will leave finger print marks easily. And I think grey is going to make my kitchen look monochromatic which I feel might get boring overtime. Some advice is really needed....See MoreNeed Ideas For Small Odd Shape Kitchen
Comments (1)Hi there, my suggestion is to create an opening between the kitchen and the living area. As a breakfast counter / casual sitting corner while the person is doing prep work. The hob can be placed behind the column (which can't be hacked). Even though it's small, it's still possible to have a fully equipped kitchen (ie oven, microwave and fridge) along with some storage space. Everything is in a whole row so that it will look seamless. I've attached a rough plan and some of our works for your understanding. Hope it helps....See MoreEliot Koey
