Shelf brackets:

Hi! Beautiful work! Are there only the two visible, ornamental brackets holding up the marble shelf at either end? Thanks!

    That's correct, two brackets hold the shelf up; they provide support and are not solely ornamental. Do make sure that any brackets you consider using are suitable for the load imposed by the shelf and that the fixings and wall are suitably specified...Good luck with your project, Kind Regards, Guy
