Need help with odd shape SOHO!

Any ID design on how to make the living/kitchen/dining area more integrated? This SOHO layout is very odd shaped. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

HI juliechgwee, Could you perhaps elaborate a little more of your needs and requirements of the space. How many people are going to live here? Are you going to work from home? Do you require the room for a home office? Will you be entertaining here? Will be doing much cooking here? Perhaps you could get in touch with us and we could meet in person as to your requirements and take it from there?

Perhaps you could have a table to separate the kitchen from the living space?

The "dining" corner could then become a shelving unit?

Thanks for your comments, its great to discuss with houzers! You are so right @decoenthusiaste the view is beautiful and one reason why I chose the apartment. the room is longer than it is wide, and I wanted the kitchen/bar to be included in the seating so the attached pic is how I was planning to lay it out. @cdrdesign I can't/change the table, its a gorgeous mahogany piece I had custom made and one I see keeping for some years yet! I dont plan a TV in this room, will put it in another room. This room in for living and entertaining guests. Sorry I dont have layout software, so you will have to make do with my scribbles using powerpoint! Could really do with help on choosing the light fitting in place of the central fan- what would look nice here or should I wait till the furniture gets here to choose the light to match?

Hi there, my suggestion is to create an opening between the kitchen and the living area. As a breakfast counter / casual sitting corner while the person is doing prep work. The hob can be placed behind the column (which can't be hacked). Even though it's small, it's still possible to have a fully equipped kitchen (ie oven, microwave and fridge) along with some storage space. Everything is in a whole row so that it will look seamless. I've attached a rough plan and some of our works for your understanding. Hope it helps.
