Unfortunately, they will not. I have drilled the hole by the side (on the concrete surface) and re-surface (make good) the side of the hole with cement only. It does not seem to be as firm as the cement that was added with sand. Here in Singapore, I couldnt find any solutions similar to what were suggested (at Houzz website) to apply on a completed concrete kitchen top. I only managed to find these, which come highly recommended from the local hardware shops, supposed to be added 4 parts Protection Coat and 1 part Polyurethane. Any comments?

We don't have garage spaces but rather, we call that 'car porch', for all our cars on any private landed property. Other high rises has multi storey carparks, which is a common sighting in Singapore.

No lah, it's important your hubby has his own relaxation area just like you'd have your lounge area. :) Sometimes we need to have our own spaces. Does your hubby not want the entertainment system to be in the living room? If you're worried about the sight of electronics marring your decor, your ID should be able to come up with clever spaces/tricks to store consoles and hide wires. Here's the arrangement in my home: our tv, soundbar, subwoofer and PS4 are in the living room. Having them in the living room comes in useful for guests if we all want to watch a movie, or if they sometimes want to have a go at the PS4 (I sometimes play too!). In our bedroom, we have a Wi-Fi speaker (that integrates with the sound system in the living room) and a PC with a huge desktop monitor for my hubby's PC games or general computer usage. But all the appliances are not an eyesore at all because they're sleek and my hubby is very neat when it comes to cable management. Anyway, think about your routine and imagine yourselves using the spaces you want to create to get a better idea of how to create them. :)

3D mock up renderings have become the norm these days and do help to win over most of clients. Its become part of our work process in Singapore. Its all about what the market is used to. Back home in South Africa and most other countries we work in, its unheard of still and we manage to convince our clients with hand sketches and 2D drawings. Singapore has a technologically advanced society and we have to keep up with what our clients want. Most of our clients receive a 3D animation walk through video like this. Some clients are still not able to visualise and demand to show them more. The point i am trying to make is, when do we show enough? Maybe one day we will print 3D presentations?
