Help me furnish the living room

Hello, I painted the living room (5.30x5.30) using a beige and brown paint for the wall behind the sofa and beige for the others. My sofa is a white chester. I also have a dark brown armchair (if it's not good in the context, I can move it to another room). My dilemma is the furniture that I will have to buy for the opposite wall, what color should it be? White or another color? I like the decor of the photo below, do you think this color is good? Help me to also choose a carpet, a table and what you consider beautiful or necessary to insert. I thank you in advance for your suggestions.
