What kind of wood was used?

That is such a gorgeous wooden deck. I love the stained look. My husband and I are looking for decking like this for our backyard. http://conradlumberco.com/products/fence-deck/decking/

Thanks, Ashley. The wood species for this application is a select grade of Cumaru , in a 5/4 and 4/4 thickness decking/stair. The decking was installed using a hidden fastener system, and was finished natural using an organic Brazilian nut oil.

Photos didn't attach. Mint is a horrible colour (IMHO) and I have it in spades in my rental. I've ignored it and accented the way I want. It seems to have calmed down since I started using bold colours like red (rugs) and orange (painted cafe street scene). The light in my place is quite warm...so I've been having fun by ignoring the mint. Colours like burnt sienna and many forms of orange seem to work well with mint. Photos would help.

Are these your chairs? They are pretty good looking. You can go with something like a round copper-topped table, use them as a host and hostess chair in a formal dining setting, or as parlor/library occasional chairs. Those would be a few great uses for them. They are very nice and can either go rustic, craftsman, lodge or traditional in the right environment.

I believe it really depends on the look that you are going for. If it's the modern country or the really rustic country style. I personally feel that EDL has something that is nice and it's called light grey walnut. Pair it with some white and gold elements and you can have a very stylize country-chic space.
