i need suggestion on how to make my kitchen cabinet layout. i dont want an upper cabinet but i would like to install a cooker hob and dish rack...any suggestion? i have attached a picture of the area

yes i will be doing retiling...i will be choosing quartz and looking at shades of grey or black for my cabinets

How can I hide an existing column in the kitchen

You could use the column for something useful like hanging utensils or cooking tools if you have the height or a towel rack or if you want to just hide it you could put fairy lights on/around it to give a homely feel.my personal opinion would be if there is a ledge you should get some vintage alcohol bottles and put them there as decoration and it works nice in most households.if no ledge just get a wine rack and screw it to the column

Hi Sivasankari Suppas, Your designer and you probably have decided what laminates to choose by now as your tiles have been chosen and laid on floor and walls. To go against the grain now would not be advisable as we can clearly see that a solid colour will work now as you have lots of pattern on the wall and floor. We would recommend a solid charcoal colour so it will appear dark (black) but not be solid as we can understand your concern of finger prints and marks when its solid black. We would then suggest a white or light grey colour or the kitchen top. Hope that helps? Do let us know if we could help you with more ideas?
