Ideas for house facade that can shield from west sun

Looking for suggestions to shield the house from west sun during certain months of the year. Thank you.

    You really need to indicate with a degree of accuracy what direction both these facades are facing as the angle the sun impacts on the facade will differ dramatically over daylight hours and season.. External Louvres would certainly be most effective but also costly. Their spacing, orientation and extent all dependant on the specific direction of the sun on the facades. If you have measured drawings of the building (plans, elevation etc } and the site plan when the sun devices can be modelled in 3d software for accurate analysis..
