Need help on the furniture layout for open plan living room
Comments (9)Thanks for your comments, its great to discuss with houzers! You are so right @decoenthusiaste the view is beautiful and one reason why I chose the apartment. the room is longer than it is wide, and I wanted the kitchen/bar to be included in the seating so the attached pic is how I was planning to lay it out. @cdrdesign I can't/change the table, its a gorgeous mahogany piece I had custom made and one I see keeping for some years yet! I dont plan a TV in this room, will put it in another room. This room in for living and entertaining guests. Sorry I dont have layout software, so you will have to make do with my scribbles using powerpoint! Could really do with help on choosing the light fitting in place of the central fan- what would look nice here or should I wait till the furniture gets here to choose the light to match?...See MoreUrgent-Need help for dining table and sofa selection
Comments (1)Go with the leather that is a shade lighter that the floors. Otherwise it could get lost in blur of grey. Use accent colors in the lamp shades, wall art and throws. I also like the white table better. The metal table is more industrial. Than the style you are going for....See MoreNeed help with wall colours

Comments (6)I like the industrial feel of the art, Poonam. I've put together a mood board, concentrating on the grungy industrial colours. I think you probably have room for a small sectional, and a few bar stools at the kitchen counter -- probably no more seating than that. I love this round coffee table, and the fact that the 'distressed' rug really does look as though it might have been in a workshop somewhere. :-) I imagine you might be mounting a TV on the left wall as you enter? Nowhere else to put one, really. If you could get a really shallow TV cabinet to put it on that would be good as it could give you a bit of storage in the room. Which may be small, by the way, but it's fabulous. Congratulations....See MoreLB Interiors
