brown counters
With modern handles this color scheme could work though I would pick a different paint color.
cream subway tile looks nice with it; note that sink and handles are white and it works
Wild rice w/too stark of white; no so appealing
Wild Rice looks better with cream than white. Can cream be modern? (This is french modern, not what I would be going for.)
I suppose that you could paint the cabinets a silvery gray to emulate this effect and carry on with the rest of it.
Would like a variation of this floor: matte 24" cream tiles w/shiny beige rectangles at ends perhaps. A patterned floor could also make me like white-ish cabinets.
This could make me like white cabinets.
Kind of what ours would look like without a punch of something
Hmm. . .don't think that I would be crazy about this in our bath but at least it shows the possibilities and that what is in our kitchen is contemporary. July 2023: Changed mind, I do like the cabinet/counter combo so that it's not white/cream. A medium river stone backsplash as shown in another pic in this Ideabook could tie the cabinet/counter colors together. A wood or tile under soffit surface to match one of those would also tie things together along with dark strips in the floor as shown in another pic in this idea book perhaps with the larger floor tiles in concert with the cream/beige varied mono color way of subway-is tiles in the shower. : )
Ugh, with white cabinetry and the neutral colors that I had in mind.
Not fond of white cabinets
Depressing
Ugh!
Though John liked the shapes, he doesn't want to emulate the downstairs bath with brown counters and cabinetry.
Too mausoleum-ish
Okay in this light-filled open space but would be too dark and bland in ours.
Too dark.
Really like the striated material though it would make the room dark.
mirror trimmed in walnut & could have under soffit, midcentury
