Dorrie's Ideabook
I just love painted brick, especially white.
Like how the corner is usable, both the interesting drawers and the appliance garage.
I think this backsplash's shape is really beautiful. I wonder if Paul would want to do that with the mahogany wood from the counter?
This is how I envision our counter and blue cabinets in the hallway bathroom.
Elegant! Without being in a huge room.
pretty cabinets(!), but that is all
Neat idea at the base of a citrus!
Never thought of Southern Magnolia......it is a beautiful plant/tree!
Yes! But I only need one, I think. "Swan Hill" is a fruitless variety, which means that it won't drop oily olives/fruit on the floor of the patio.
This type of fireplace would work for us; but with a white stucco finish.
I find the shape interesting. Also, it's not super-tall.
I like the color of the cabinets. I wonder what it is - the article didn't say. It looks as if it could be correct to match the blue in our Talavera sink>
I've never seen that pebble tile on a wall - that's a neat idea!
I do love that mermaid tail tile!
Dream patio (and attached house)!
We could borrow the look of the pizza oven but make the opening larger for a hearth.
So striking! Not my style, but I love the variety of textures, yet they make a cohesive look.
wish I had unlimited funds - this is so beautiful!

My dream living room
Very practical for storing coffee/tea mugs!
This is so attractive to me. I think it's because it is orderly and sleek - which translates to "clean" (to me).
I like this wooden vanity - simple. Must show Paul for hallway bathroom.
An idea so that we wouldn't have to wait for trees to grow tall - the grasses sit on top of the wall.
I think these cabinets are the type that Paul wants for our kitchen - shaker style and the light wood tone.
This is a new thought for me - to bring a half wall out from the border wall thereby creating a planter area. We could build it at the same height as the fireplace hearth.
Put a grate along the top and use as a grill!
Paul loves this
simple and serene
would like to have a privacy screen like this one (bushes)
Love the efficiency of this pull-out
kitchen garden and espaliered fruit trees on the wall - maybe we could do that.
Wow!
Like the wood on the cabinets. I even like the blue shower tiles, but oh what a commitment that is!
other side of "gorgeous"
gorgeous!
interior of front yard solution
solution for front yard privacy and noise-control
so cute!!
In my dreams...….but I can have these elements in my simple home.
tiled wall and matching tiled tub apron
No reason to save this other than the thought that it looks SO peaceful.
What I like about this are the cabinets and how they used the cabinet between the two sinks.
A clean look in the rock planter.
