Lot 126 Hamm Crescent
There are so many things we love about this: privacy from the house extensions on either side, covered seating on one side of the fire pit and uncovered on the other, the BBQ and eating area covered and close to the kitchen doors. It is simple and clean looking. We're not sure how the transition down from the main level would work in our case, maybe a smaller raised area with the bbq and then a few steps down to the eating/sitting area. Fireplace visually nice but probably not functional for fall/winter/spring
Skylights are a no for us. Love the placement of the eating area and BBQ together, but BBQ should be adjacent to house. Love the fireplace area with seating. The rectangular space heaters are nice. We don't really need a sink or fridge etc outside but the little bit of counter space on either side of the BBQ is nice
This is gorgeous but obviously wouldn't "belong" in Rosewood. I love the cream colour of this house. Dorian is in love with the look of brick. This house just says "elegant" to me. However we understand the roof line detail would add enormous cost and we won't be able to build anything remotely like this on our lot. Just wanted to add an example of it as I think it's absolutely beautiful.
I think Dorian would love this. I love the colours and the roof lines. I'm not a fan of the contrasting brick as detail over the garage doors and the windows. We both love a "maintenance free" exterior, so the windows framed with stone or brick are a plus compared with wood or metal trim. Love the look of the black windows on this house.
Love the overall look of this, but my eyes tell me there should be some space between the brick and the windows (I don't like how it butts right up against them). In this light the wood door/garage looks too dark in contrast to the rest of the house, but in other photos it looks perfect. I'm not a super huge fan of the fake shutter look.
This is the general style of house we'd be looking for, but this one screams "busy" to me. I'm not a fan of the stark colour contrast between the cherry wood and the light grey. Maybe if this was in a more natural shade the house would look calmer to me.
Love the colours, love the lines, the details on the windows and the windows matching the wood finish on the front an garage doors. The smooth finish on the stucco is lovely.
The colour scheme of this house makes me feel "calm". It looks elegant without being over the top. I don't care for the curving roof lines, but in this case the arch details don't bother me as much as some of the other designs. Still I think I prefer symmetry and would like to see what this house looked like with no arch over the entry and a peaked roof over the other set of windows. I love this exterior, it might be my favourite.
Love this. Outdoor TV not super practical in SK, we don't need one!
