I could not have been more pleased to work with Brittany B. In Grands Rapids. She did at outstanding job in meeting deadlines, providing advice from her knowledgeable background and communicating frequently. She was always on top of the project and ready to work with me each time I came back with more questions. She was attentative to every detail spotting missing pieces and guiding me through each aspect. I so appreciated her patiennce with my reoccurring questions and concerns. My project came out very successfully and it was in large measure due to her skill, commitment and communication. I will definitely look to work with her and Standard Kitchens on my next project.

We were helped every step of the way. We were not pushed to go with a particular style. We were referred to an excellent contractor. Our result was a kitchen to be proud of having and know it will be the site for many years of happy cooking and a lovely spot for family gatherings.

She has designed two recent projects (kitchen and bathroom) for us and we couldn't be happier with her work. Our kitchen remodel involved removing a small bathroom and a laundry room to make space for a bigger kitchen/dining area. She was able to incorporate all our needs and desires into a space that flows well and is beautiful. Everyone who sees it just raves about it! Our second project involved turning a small bedroom into a bathroom. Again she did a great job. It was difficult to design, but she worked diligently to again meet our needs. Carmen was a warm, easy person to work with, always available to us and our contractor, and quick to correct any issues that arose. I can't recommend her enough!!!

The knowledge and professionalism of Stacy and the team at Standard Kitchens helped me navigate through many design choices. And, they did not hesitate to spend as much time with me as I wanted answering my questions. Importantly, their attention to detail made it seem as if my kitchen was the most important task they had. Shelby at Standard Kitchens was great to work with! She's very down -to-earth and approachable, !not at all pretentious like many other kitchen designers that I talked to throughout our kitchen remodel process (we shoooed around a great bit in the Grand Rapids area, 4 other kitchen design/cabinet suppliers). She was very responsive when snags came up (and they will no matter how well planned you are) and fixed the problems with almost no discussion, she just got it done. She also had some very good design input that definitely helped make our kitchen pop. Our kitchen is completely finished and I couldn't be happier!

My name is Sheresa Thalman and I own Thalman Construction with my husband, Linus. Carmen has designed the majority of our kitchens in our custom homes and remodels. Carmen is exceptional at what she does! Carmen is excellent with customers and can layout a kitchen, provide the cabinets, counter tops, appliances for that kitchen without any assistance from us. If there is ever a problem with materials, Carmen takes care of the problem ASAP. I refer Carmen to all of our clients and they all have been very satisfied with her!!

Shelby is a responsive and talented professional. She has a wonderful eye for design and consistently followed up on each and every aspect of our project. Shelby went beyond basic coordination, by actually going to bat for us when another company had not served us well. Her effort resulted in improved and corrected service from the contractor. Additionally, Shelby is delightful and engaging. She has a firm grasp of the products she offers and engenders trust in her honesty and opinions. It was not unusual for her to be available briefly after hours or on the weekend if something needed clarification. Standard Kitchens would be well served to reward Shelby M. for her unusually responsive and enthusiastic service to us through our renovation project. She had the ability to help us feel like the only client she had to serve. Quite exceptional from our perspective after 40 years of homeownership and a number of renovation projects! In fact, she far exceeded the experience we had with an older person in the same office nearly ten years ago, who is no longer there.

Reputable neighborhood business, great ideas in their showroom. Everything completed in a timely manner or ahead of schedule. Shelby did a great job laying out all the details of our kitchen project.
