Debra Prinzing is a Seattle-based writer, speaker and leading advocate for American Grown Flowers. Through her many Slow Flowers-branded projects, she has convened a national conversation that stimulates consumers and professionals alike to make conscious choices about their floral purchases. Debra is the producer of slowflowers.com, the online directory to American grown farms, florists, shops and studios who supply domestic and local flowers. Each Wednesday, approximately 2,500 listeners tune into Debra's "Slow Flowers Podcast," available for free downloads at her web site, debraprinzing.com, or on iTunes and via other podcast services.

One of the traits that makes Debra Prinzing an excellent writer and design authority is her ability to listen and learn from her subjects. Debra has written extensively about my sculpture and modern trellis collection for many publications including Houzz.com (www.houzz.com/ideabooks/1863525/list/Garden-Sculptures-Shape-the-Landscape) Debra's stories are beautifully written, always thoughtful and offer intelligent perspective. I am always honored when Debra contacts me for a story; she is one of the most highly respected writers/authorities in the print and online world of design and horticulture.

Debra wrote a really interesting article about rules to design by in landscape design were some of our work were used as examples. Her writing is clear and consise, and the way we were quoted were accurate.

I worked with Debra on an article for Alaska Airlines. She was very professional and also a ton of fun to work with. Her final article was expertly written and did a great job conveying the subject topic. I would highly recommend Debra for writing!
