The number of photo saves for these study nooks or home offices is up, as owners search for ideas on how to make their homes work harder. These are this season’s top-saved study nooks, but another thing that these 12 have in common is that they’re low-key, blending in with the rest of the room.

Designed by 19 Eighty Three for a common room in a condo, the study desk reclaims some unused space from a bay window (the rest of the bay is used as a window seat). It’s a great use of a tiny space, and optimises the room’s window as well, providing an outdoor view for rest tired eyes and bringing natural light into the study area.

This ever-popular room (it has won Best of Houzz for the past three years) designed by The Scientist proves why platform beds are so popular with Singapore homeowners. This one provides a cocooned sleep space that is segregated from the study and closet area, whilst providing open storage as well.

Atelier Here designed a study desk over the bay window, with a lush, green view of the trees outside. This is a compact condo with one bedroom, so adding a home office was an achievement in clever space planning.

What is impressive about this minimalist bedroom by ATELIER | X . Singapore is the cleverly designed headboard under the window sill. It joins the study desk seamlessly to the bed, and incorporates a power board and light switches so that you don’t see or have to contend with cables.
