Decorative tiles, rounded timber cabinets and secret colours conspire to create a bathroom that is a sight to behold
Working a whimsical bathroom into a 19th-century terrace with its own idiosyncratic touches was required in this project. Winwood Mckenzie Architecture more than rose to the challenge with this charming, mixed-materials bathroom.

Create a unique, beautifully crafted and highly functional bathroom. The space needed to be peaceful, individual, relaxing and memorable.

Starting point
The atmosphere of the original 19th-century two-storey terrace house, which was well-built and maintained, and featured some idiosyncratic details and ornamentation.
