‘Freeplay - vol.1’ is a collaborative project between Danish furniture label Montana, Singapore retailer P5 Studio and eight local design and architectural practices using the Danish brand’s modular system. The eight designs lead the brand’s Singapore collection, and are for sale at P5 Studio.
To celebrate the launch of the collection, one of these eight designs, Totem by Wynk Collaborative, was announced as the winning representative in a face-off with designs from Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, the Philippines and Australia at Denmark’s 3daysofdesign festival in 2020. The winning regional design will also be a part of Montana’s international collection.

Asked how they found this experience compared to designing built-in and bespoke pieces for their interior projects, Leong and Si said: “It was uncomplicated as Montana components are thoughtfully detailed. All we needed to do was to put them together in a meaningful manner.”
