Singaplural 2017: Event Highlights to Look Forward to
Mark these events in your calendar and learn about design through the festival theme 'Stories – A New Perspective'
It’s Singapore Design Week (SDW) from March 3-12, and in various venues throughout Singapore, there will be industry as well as public events celebrating this creative world.
SingaPlural, the anchor event of SDW, this year opens to the public at the F1 Pit Building (3rd floor), from March 7-12. Themed “Stories – A New Perspective,” this week-long festival offers visitors a peek into the creative minds of designers through a visual journey of various narratives and eye-catching displays, and features over 100 participants including Uniqlo, Ewins, Antalis and Admira.

Partners is a space where SingaPlural’s various partners – Kyo Project, The Alchemists, d.lab, Ngee Ann Polytechnic School of Design and Environment, and University of South Australia School of Art, Architecture and Design – join in the celebration and showcase their works.

Platform: Zestro and Fyon
Platform features exhibits by designers and creators from Singapore and beyond, aged 35 years old and below in 2017. This curated platform provides different perspectives and stories of the creatives.

Pop-up: Catch
Pop-up is a collaborative shop where Singapore brands meet Singapore designers, creating new products that will be launched for sale at SingaPlural.
Brands include Scene Shang, Gallery & Co., Onlewo, Supermama, Shermay’s Fine Food, ETTE TEA, and more.

Projects spotlights collaborations between well-known designers and brands, such as Uniqlo teaming up with local designers Fizah and Ando from Machineast and Roots; and Studio Architetto Egidio Panzera with Singapore company Ewins for an acrylic installation.
