Season 7 of the hit design competition The Apartment premieres this week in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Thailand on Diva. Tyler Wisler (right) takes over host and mentor duties from Australian designer and TV personality Jamie Durie, while Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen continues as head judge. Cat Arambulo joins them on the panel as they evaluate how the contestants fulfilled the design brief for each episode’s challenge.
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen
A veteran interior designer in his home country, the UK, Laurence is the ultimate design and decorating guru to advise and critique up-and-coming and wannabe-designers. He’s authored decorating books and designed collections for wallcoverings and paint, bedlinen, cutlery, bathroomware and much more; but more importantly, he’s appeared in and presented TV shows about decorating and interior design since 1996.

Tyler Wisler
The Hawaii-born interior designer competed on the sixth season of US cable TV channel HGTV’s Design Star, so he has a lot of empathy for The Apartment contestants. His years of experience, creativity and passion for design shine through not only his work, but in the wisdom he shares with the contestants.
Tyler says: “Expect big personalities, big drama, big TEARS?!… And that’s just the first episode! This season of The Apartment proves that some folks thrive and can design under pressure, while others let It consume them. Grab your popcorn kids, The Apartment is back and more luxurious than ever!”
Tyler recently relocated to Singapore, where his design studio, Tyler Wisler Home, is now based.
