Should you store skincare products in your bathroom? Should you be storing your skincare products in your bathroom alongside the shampoo and liquid soap? The answer depends somewhat on how seriously you take your skincare regime. detail behind sink - smhowardpsu
We started out with quite a different plan for this bathroom. Before tiling we needed to re-plaster the walls but when we exposed the beautiful red sandstone behind, it had to stay. The original design had been pure Victorian but the final design combined Victorian with rustic and the result is striking.
The soft green opalescent tile in the shower and on the floor creates a subtle tactile geometry, in harmony with the matte white paint used on the wall and ceiling; semi gloss is used on the trim for additional subtle contrast. The sink has clean simple lines while providing much-needed accessible storage space. A clear frameless shower enclosure allows unobstructed views of the space.

Floor-mounted toiletTraditional toilets continue to improve in terms of design, with a large range of styles and sizes available. Compact versions as small as 36 centimetres in width by 62 centimetres in depth are now available – great where space is at a premium. You’ll need to allow at least 20 centimetres each side of the toilet for ease of fitting and access. Some floor-mounted toilets come with concealed cisterns also, as seen here.
