Grand staircase welcomes guests as they pass through the first floor and ascend to the second floor bedrooms and third floor apartment. An elevator (on the right) allows easy access to the second and third floors.
Limed timber stair treads on the staircase, and matching limed original timber floorboards weave together consistently through the spaces as if they had always been there. A book filled bookshelf is nestled between the studs of a wall supporting the staircase, and supposed by a delicately detailed balustrade over to allow the light through.

Stairs to the second floor and roof deck in the Coastal Living Showhouse
We love this nautical inspired stairway. This started out as a very dark stairway leading up to a small loft bedroom. We love the contrast between the dark espresso floors and the bright sisal runner. The light golden rope makes a fun railing with bright chrome hardware. A nod to our nautical Nantucket design.
