Copper Tiles in Honolulu, HI

A rare and spectacular early 20th century residential hillside estate in Honolulu was in need of a new roof and the owner wanted to make the roof as distinctive and special and problem-free as possible. Weight on the old structure was a major consideration due to the age of the building, as was resistance to the persistent mold that grows readily on building exteriors in this very warm, humid environment. A vented copper tile roof solved all of the problems at once, while adding a crowning touch of elegance and old-world charm that no other roof could match. It's a gem and will only get more beautiful with each passing year and decade.
