This supplementary bar is stocked with snacks and drinks -- for teens/kids and friends when the full kitchen show is underway. Great storage directly off the dining area means that drinking and wine glasses are near at hand. (Calgary Photos)
West Trade Interiors
This classic family home on a quiet cul de sac in desirable Foxcroft just got a facelift. The clients worked with Advanced Renovations and Lisa Britt Designs to gut the kitchen and rework the overall flow. Besides the beautiful kitchen, our favorite element was flip flopping the dining room and den (see before and after photos within album). This allowed our clients, who love to entertain, easier access to kitchen when serving in the dining room. Also, it maximized use of the existing built-in cabinetry for their large sliver and china collections. Jim Schmid Photography

Reico Kitchen & Bath
Designed by Samina Datta of Reico Kitchen & Bath in Frederick, MD, this wet bar and game room area features kitchen cabinets from Merillat Classic in the Ralston door style in Maple with a Kona finish. Wainscoting paneling incorporates the Ralston Maple Kona as well. Countertops are engineered quartz by Cambria in the color Torquay with a demi bullnose edge. All other materials provided by others. Advanced House Plans
This steeply sloped property was converted into a backyard retreat through the use of natural and man-made stone. The natural gunite swimming pool includes a sundeck and waterfall and is surrounded by a generous paver patio, seat walls and a sunken bar. A Koi pond, bocce court and night-lighting provided add to the interest and enjoyment of this landscape. This beautiful redesign was also featured in the Interlock Design Magazine. Explained perfectly in ICPI, “Some spa owners might be jealous of the newly revamped backyard of Wayne, NJ family: 5,000 square feet of outdoor living space, complete with an elevated patio area, pool and hot tub lined with natural rock, a waterfall bubbling gently down from a walkway above, and a cozy fire pit tucked off to the side. The era of kiddie pools, Coleman grills and fold-up lawn chairs may be officially over.”
