Design Dilemma: Create a space that is open for all the family to be together while mom is cooking, make it comfortable and functional.
Solution:The range overlooks the sitting room, where the kids can play while mom is cooking. The windows make the room delightful for all. The sink was moved to the corner to increase counter space. Tall wall cabinetry completes the space and adds storage. An adjoining butler pantry was updated for storage of food stuffs.
