Open stairs let the light through
The original pine hardwood flooring in the living room adds warmth and balance to the grey and white colour palette of the main floor. The open staircase features the original pine stair treads, while the stair stringers, railings and posts, and the pine ceiling were painted white. Flooring in the entryway is black/charcoal tiles, a few feature tiles with splashes of orange or white were installed for interest.
