Extensive metal work was carried out to construct the mezzanine. Aside from the metal structure that holds the second level, the team also used metal plates, painted black, to form the book shelves. The staircase balustrade features a wire mesh detail, rounding up the industrial theme. The dining area takes its spot under the mezzanine. Beside it is a kitchenette, which was not updated, as the owner does not cook much.

It looks modern and industrial. I like how the stairs and the second story looks very open.
