I like the ribbon fireplace and the colors. Like the simplicity and also like the slider the the look of the drapes which surprises me.

Clean line from edge of fire place. Create box the depth of fireplace that goes to ceiling allowing to hide all the TV wires for mounting TV cleanly. Use dark oak vinyl wallpaper for wood area and ceramic tile for remaining wall area.
