About Us

Terry Waters French Polishing was started in 1978. It is a family run company and through the years we have polished for kings and sultans as well as for our own Royal Family. Our core business always has been the highly specialised area of French polishing but over forty years we have extended our knowledge to cover floor sanding and resealing with lacquers or waxes or oils as your property requires. We are also leather restorers and have worked on not just sofas and chairs but also car interiors and yacht interiors. Such quality for detail brings us to our gilding and marbling skills. Many of our clients do not wish for their interiors to be broadcasted all over social media. You will find that discretion is a key word for us. Being members of the BDMA has also enabled our skill set to grow into upholstery and carpet cleaning and we are members of the NCCA- the professional carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning association
