Akari Lanterns

I ordered a pendant light from Akari Lanterns and what they sent did NOT match the photo. It was also very visibly used. I contacted them about a return, and while they initially hard timed me about it, they did finally agree to let me return the light. I used the FedEx slip (with tracking number) they gave me, and I dropped it off at FedEx the very next day after they emailed it to me. The tracking info showed that it was returned to them. The following week, they claimed it hadn't been returned and they closed the return without refunding me. Had I not requested - and saved - the receipt, those fraudsters would have kept the light AND my money! I would never, EVER do business with them again.

Just purchased the Akari Rounds lantern in the deluxe size. It is absolutely stunning, and exactly what I had envisioned for our new modern home. Customer service was excellent. The price was so reasonable, I would gladly have paid much more for this beauty. Great product. Thank you so much!

I have purchased Akari Lantern's small round pendant light for my soon-to-arrive baby girl's room. Both my wife and I love the unique origami shape of the lantern and it looks especially great when it's turned on. Overall, I had a very positive experience with Akari. I initially ordered the wrong size (medium) and it turned out to be too big for the small room. Akari was prompt to accept my return and exchange for the smaller size lantern.

I have the deluxe square pendant lamp from Akari Lanterns. It didn't cost much and looks great in my bedroom! For me, it works great because my apartment has a "switched" outlet that powers my bedroom light. However, I'd recommend buying the hard wired kit just in case you want to hang it from as a light fixture (as most pendant lamps do). Overall, looks great and is a common conversation starter for my new visitors.
