Our Team at aka Room Services is dedicated to ensuring the right style is selected so that blinds, shades, shutters, drapery, curtains and furniture coverings reflect your tastes in window treatments. Interior design and decorating can be a daunting task. Many Vernon & Okanagan home & business owners trust Ellen, her staff & Interior Decorating team to help choose the appropriate window coverings, new upholstery or reuplhostery, and area rugs. Please consult with us about any other decorating details as well. aka Room Services has been operating from Vernon and serving the greater Okanagan area in British Columbia for over a 45 years! Can't say enough about the great service and beautiful choices for drapes and blinds. We have just ordered more blinds now that our downstairs remodel is done.........can hardly wait, they will be beautiful!!

I live very close to this location so I decided try them . They were professional and so helpful in choosing our blinds for our cartridge house . The blinds arrived quickly and the installer was excellent.

AKA Room Services assisted us with window coverings for our new home. Ellen came to our home with all her samples and helped me narrow down my choices taking into consideration our lake view and the amount of direct sunlight we get from early morning to late afternoon. We were very impressed with the installation service as well. We received other quotes which were competitive but found aka professional and committed to get it right.

Ellen did a very professional job of designing our sun shades for our poolside pergola. It was exactly what we had envisioned. It not only looks beautiful but also very functional. Her positive and bubbly attitude added to our wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Ellen.

I recently had two chairs reupholstered. Ellen at aka Room Services was recommended to me. She did not disappoint. She is extremely approachable and very helpful with suggestions of which patterns and material weight may or may not work with a particular piece of furniture. I consider the day I first met her one of my nicest experiences since moving to Vernon.

My experience with Ellen and staff was very positive. I spoke with Ellen in her store, gave her my floor plan with window measures and she gave me an overview of the blinds they sell. I was living between homes a long distance apart, but over the next month Ellen and I communicated via phone, email and I ordered so that my blinds would be installed the second day I moved into my new home! Ellen was upfront with any changes in design or cost - I was kept well informed and there were no surprises! Their installer Brian was very professional and had the blinds up in short order. I recommend aka Room Services without hesitation.

when ellen came to our house to show us the blinds, she was very professional, yet approachable and very knowledgable about home design and products, the blinds were top quality (hunter douglas) and brian did an excellent job installing. i would definitely recommend aka room service.
