Allison is brilliant! Her design is beautiful, innovative, and incorporates our style and all the things we love—but better. She is a great listener, cares deeply about her work and makes the process fun. She is also skilled at making budget recommendations, talking about home value impact and helping to keep things on time and in budget.

Allison was fantastic to work with during our house renovation project. Architecture, construction, design - she was able to support just about everything with an expert's lens. We are really grateful that we were able to work with her on the remodel of our house.

Allison has transformed 3 rooms in our house! She has added a shower to our upstairs bath without bumping out. In our daughter's room, she took a dingy mirrored closet and morphed it into a space she can use for years to come with a built in desk and dresser! Our kitchen layout was inefficient and dark. Within our footprint, she created an efficient layout I didn't think was possible and worked in natural colors that will be timeless. Allison's attention to detail and the ability to be creative within footprint are just two reasons why my husband and I love working with her and will continue to use her for any future projects we have.

Allison is the main reason my house has been transformed into a home I absolutely love and adore. She was able to transform my living spaces and kitchen into rooms that absolutely matched my style and personality. I cannot wait until I can work with her again to transform the rest of my house. She is the best and I’m so thankful I found her.

I worked with Allison on my first ever remodeling project this past year. This was a fairly extensive project involving moving a load baring wall and making a large one floor leaving area. I felt our design connection went quite well. Allison quickly understood my design wishes and was able to take my ideas and develop those into drawings and thus becoming a reality. I have now been in our space about 5 months and I have very few thoughts of areas I should have done differently. I consider this a win for all. Thank you Allison.

Allison ROCKS. Some of the things I appreciated most about working with her during our remodel and bathroom addition include: - how she listened, interpreted the project/vision, as well as took our concerns very seriously. She asked insightful questions, based on her experience and instinct, which really enhanced parts our project - her depth of knowledge. Around remodels, her eye for detail, design perspective and function. Her suggestions about the opportunities worth taking were smart and she is well versed in the common remodel and design challenges to avoid - her commitment. Allison treated our project as if it were her own home and was a part of it each step along the way. I absolutely trust that if anything had gone off track she would be on top of it promptly And of course, this all translated into beautiful work that we are extremely happy with!

Allison Landers was the perfect designer for our kitchen remodel. She is very creative and yet listened and collaborated with us along the way. Since this was our first remodel for our 1920's south Minneapolis home we needed help seeing the possibilities while staying within our budget. We ended up gutting the kitchen. One of her many great suggestions was enlarging the doorway into the dining room. This really opened the kitchen and made a friendlier connection with the dining room. One of our focuses was tiles for the back-splash areas. Allison connected us with some makers of beautiful tiles. Allison is very knowledgeable about woodwork and cabinets and blending the old with the new. Her details in the cabinetry made them unique. Her choices of lighting throughout the kitchen were functional and added character to the room. She had an excellent working relationship with the project manager and the installers and helped ensure a high quality result. We had a flexible timeline and she helped move things along. We would recommend Allison for any project that is looking for creative and quality solutions.

Allison was wonderful to work with! We had a basement space that was a real challenge. Her creativity resulted in a warm and welcoming entry to our home from the garage and a wonderful multi purpose room that gets plenty of use daily. Allison brought to us a wealth of knowledge and experts that created an area that we would not have thought possible.

I loved working with Allison. She was our designer when we finished our basement. She took the time to learn our style, see what other features we had in our house, and listen to what we wanted. She found great pieces for our basement (hardware, lights, tile, flooring, etc.), designed custom, unique cabinets for our bathroom and wet bar, and designed a custom bar using the original bar my husband's grandfather built with a new, sheek top that reveals the history of the original bar and incorporated the old top into the custom cabinets. We couldn't be happier with all of her help, advice, and style.

Allison is awesome! Our project: a complete re-do on the front "porch" section of our 1920's four-square home. One side was a wood panneling and drop tile ceiling family room, and the other side was a tight hallway entry with a closet-inside-a-closet (it was crazy). Project was to blend the family room into the feel of the rest of our home, and add an open entry and new small bathroom to the other side. Our experience: Allison was super responsive from the first call I made to her, which is often the hardest part with anything home-improvement related. What I appreciated the most is how she focused on all the small items in our project. My biggest worry is that we'd have a project that skimped all the minor details, but Allison was all over it. I can't stress enough how nice it was to not have to be a pest throughout the whole project over details being overlooked. We absolutely love the work that was done, and simply could not have done it without all the thought and precision that Allison brought to the project. When we're ready to re-do our kitchen, Allison is the only call we're making!

We met Allison on a home tour about 7 years ago and immediately we were attracted to her enthusiasm and designs. We spent the next 3-4 years going to home tours to see how she turned old houses like ours into beautiful homes with modern amenities yet also staying true to their original character and blending seamlessly into their neighborhoods. Her homes stood out from others we had toured. We had met with her a few times over the years with ideas on varying budgets and needs, but had not found just the right solution yet. Last year our family went from 3 to 4, which made our house feel less adequate. Allison was able to make our dreams of a master suite, mudroom and a brand new kitchen a reality. We were even able to capture a few ‘opportunities’ along the way which only added to the overall impact of the project without sending our budget out the window. Since we had already worked on a design in the past, she was able to come in with a solid idea of what we were looking for. Her experience with old houses is a great strength and was especially evident as she designed our upstairs master bathroom into the limited space under the sloped ceilings. The challenge of adding a mudroom and an island in the kitchen was executed masterfully while being very budget conscious. Allison proposed a small cantilever bump-out in the kitchen, which provided the extra space we needed for the island and mudroom, but was not nearly as expensive as a full addition. Once the space was structurally designed, Allison and team made selecting the finishes fun and easy! They came with different ideas and provided options and recommendations on everything. They pretty much took out all the stress of picking out the finishes, which in our opinion as non-designers, would have been quite challenging on our own. We interviewed other builders for the project, but none of them had a designer, and we do not think we would have had the same experience or outcome had we decided to go with the lowest bid. As I'm sure most projects do, we ran into an issue along the way, and Allison went out of her way to make it right. We are in love with our new spaces; it pretty much feels like a new house! The transformation from what it was to where it is now is remarkable. We are so happy that we chose Allison for this project and we highly recommend her!

Allison was a terrific asset to our basement remodel project. Her recommendations for all aspects of the design process were greatly appreciated and spot on!!!! We were very impressed with her attention to detail to insure that everything was completed and met our high standards.
