Creating Designs that bring harmony and beauty to a space, while also meeting the lifestyle needs of my clients is a challenge I enjoy meeting day in and day out. I have spent the past 30 + years honing my craft in the Residential Interior Design field and never tire of the inspired and varied process of transforming a space. My work has been featured in Traditional Home, Sunset, Elle Decor, and various other publications. Window Treaments are one of the most important foundational elements in a room and can solve a variety of challenges. Barrie, while working remotely, did an excellent job explaining how the process worked, helping me select samples, walk me through taking measurements, helped me pick the material for my drapes, and walked me through how to install my drapes when they arrived. The drapes are exactly the right size and look beautiful. I couldn't have done it without her.

My wife and I recently moved to a new gorgeous home in Pacific Palisades with huge windows and glass sliding doors. As much as we enjoy natural light flooding into the interior spaces, we needed some privacy and protection from the sun in various areas. I called Barrie ,from Smith and Noble who I worked before with, so she can address the right window treatment type and finishes that will work with the interior theme of our house. Barrie has a great eye and interior design and decoration skills. She did an excellent job and it has been a pleasant experience. I enjoyed the fact that she is very responsive and professional. I highly recommend working with Barrie, and as an architect and home builder I will work with her on my future designs. Thank you Barrie! Lior

Barrie Lynn was such a delight to work with! I contacted her to help me on a few of my own design projects with my clients. We thoroughly enjoyed working with her. She is an excellent listener and her follow through is impeccable. She even came back to make sure my clients and I were happy with the results. Barrie @ Smith & Noble was brilliant!! I’ve used Smith & Noble for all my window coverings and all were great....BUT Barrie stands out with her expertise as a Designer, and her caring ways!!

I highly recommend Barrie. We purchased window treatments for living room, dining room, and den. During the process, Barrie was easy to communicate with, organized, and detail oriented. She provided multiple sketch ups and samples that met our objectives around price, functionality, and decor style. She checked over our orders with an eagle eye, reviewed them with us in detail, and made sure we understood everything. She was prompt to respond to my inquires, and, many times, she was in front of the process, helping to progress things along. We were in the midst of a renovation and only had pictures and fabric swatches of what the rooms were to look like. She was able to help me visualize everything together and select rollers, stack shades, and drapes that, now installed, complement everything in the room and look timeless. She was adept at identifying my style and finding the perfect fit of window treatments. I will definitely hire her again for our bedroom window treatments.

Barrie was very professional and on time. We did end up with a "correction" which was resolved quickly (even during quarantine!). I was very pleased with Barrie and the design and installation of our window treatments.

Barrie was great, so helpful and accommodating! Barrie helped us design and oversaw installation of roller shades and cornices for our oversized windows and sliding glass doors. She painstakingly helped us sort through our complicated window covering needs due to bright lights shining from the building next door, but now we have beautiful, clean and modern shades throughout the house, all connected to our smart home system.

She clearly explained the options and guided us to make the best choices based on her many years of experience as an interior decorator. Great experience! Great taste, understood my needs and goals, as well as my budget, and gave terrific advice, pointing out pros and cons of various options. I have worked with many other designers in the past for projects in both my home and office and working with Berrie was by far the best experience I have ever had with a designer. I’m looking forward to working with her again on the remaining window treatment I need for my home.

Barrie was an absolute dream to work with! I felt overwhelmed with so many design choices available. She came into my home and immediately grasped my personal taste, and also understood and appreciated the style home we have. She coupled the two and right away made some excellent suggestions that probably would've taken me weeks to narrow down. Within a couple of days after receiving samples, I had confidently confirmed the choices for every window treatment in our home. Barrie kept in touch with me throughout the process and came over the day of install to ensure everything came out as expected. And it did! I'm so very happy with my experience working with Barrie, and highly suggest her services.
