Beau is the best contractor we have ever worked with, bar none. His attention to detail and his eye for design are both impeccable, and there is nothing we wouldn’t trust him with. He communicated clearly, kept us incredibly well-informed about the scope and timing of the project, and did everything he said he would, completing the project pretty much exactly when he expected to be finished, and on budget. He gave us great advice throughout the process – including recommending when to order certain items, an impressive feat given the current global supply chain issues – in a way that was completely respectful and never pushy. The kitchen is now our favorite room in the house. A bit of background on our project: Beau dragged our kitchen from the 70s – no range vent, Formica countertops that buckled with the slightest pressure, painted wood floor, cupboard doors that didn’t fully close, to name a few issues – into the modern era. This was a complete demolition, down to the studs, and rebuild. Along the way, he removed an old chimney that ran from our basement, through the first floor, and into the attic; upgraded our hot water heater and most of our old, galvanized plumbing; updated our electrical panel and removed a lot of knob-and-tube wiring; and widened our back door. He had a clear understanding of what he could and could not do, and, for the latter, he had subcontractors lined up and ready to do the work. Beau, his crew, and the subcontractors we interacted with, were all extremely pleasant, polite, helpful, and fun. They were very nice to (and tolerant of) our pets, and did everything they could to make the process as unintrusive as possible. They went above and beyond in so many ways, it’s impossible to remember them all. At the end of the project, the work was done as expected, was top-notch, and as much as we were glad to have the kitchen back, it was sad to see them go.

It's been over a year since Beau remodeled our bathroom, so I can say with plenty of perspective that working with him was a great decision! It's clear that the materials were of the highest quality and the skill with which everything was installed is faultless. Would recommend him highly -- we love our bathroom! It's exactly what we wanted.

Beau and his team, Ian and Rick, just finished remodeling 2 of our bathrooms. From the beginning it became apparent that Beau was detail oriented and helped us wade through the sea of materials until we were happy with our choices. He dove-tailed very well with our interior designer. We were provided with a detailed estimate of everything imaginable, and the project came in right at the estimate and on time! Beau and his crew recently completed a complete remodel of our master bathroom and an update to our powder room, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Their workmanship and attention to detail were excellent. Beau, Jimmy, and Ian were easy to have around during the 11 weeks they were working in our house. They were courteous and kept the house tidy throughout the project. After our initial consultation and preliminary estimate, Beau worked with us over a period of several months to refine the design and help us choose all the materials and fixtures. The project started and finished exactly on schedule. His pricing was detailed and transparent, and he kept us informed throughout the project of the cost of last-minute changes. The project completed slightly under the original budget. Very early in the project he uncovered a substantial issue with our roof and worked closely with the roofing company to coordinate his work with theirs in a way that didn’t impact his schedule. We look forward to hiring Creative Kitchens and Baths Seattle for future projects.

My wife and I have worked with Beau for 3 remodels in our condo over the past 5 years. In 2015, he did our kitchen, in 2018 he did our baths, and in 2019 he did our closet doors. Beau and his crew have done high quality work, and come in on-time and on-budget for each remodel. Creative Kitchens & Baths Seattle (CKBS) remodeled both bathrooms in our Seattle home. We chose CKBS because we needed a contractor with an eye for design and who specialized in this kind of work. We could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Beau, the owner of CKBS, started by developing a very detailed scope, estimate and schedule for the project. Then came the design work – we worked with Beau on selection of counter tops (in this case, very unique and cool granite remnants), cabinets (vertical grained fir customized to match our craftsman style), porcelain tile and trim, bathroom fixtures, bath and shower plumbing, lighting, and ventilation. When Beau and his team arrived on site, they cordoned off work areas, protected carpet and home furnishings, and covered flooring in all traffic areas. We lived in our home while the bathrooms were remodeled in sequence – first the guest bathroom, then the master bathroom. The bathrooms once completed were truly amazing. Beau's team were so friendly, reliable, competent, and trustworthy. We really needed to rely on these guys and they delivered awesome results. The project came in on schedule and on budget. In Seattle, home prices have gone way up over the past few years. It's nice to know that if we ever sell our house, we will have bathrooms that will capture the attention of new buyers looking for quality as well as location. Great job!

Beau and his crew did a great job remodeling our kitchen. Beau provided expert guidance from the beginning, and offered clever ideas about layout and design that made the project better than we originally intended. When there were features that we wanted to keep to tie back to the rest of the house, he blended those in, too. When it was time for the job to begin, his crew started on time, and moved the large appliances for us. His crew were very thoughtful, and checked with our neighbors to ensure they wouldn't be disturbed during the project. They were respectful of our house during the course of the work, and completed the task on schedule and budget. When we tell this to friends and neighbors who've used other contractors, they look at us like we're describing a Bigfoot sighting. During the final walk-through, I came to appreciate Beau's attention to detail. The backsplash tiles came in sheets that had been laid down by machine; his crew removed and replaced each one by hand, because they weren't straight enough. Now, all around the kitchen are laser-straight beveled edges and grout lines. He sent back a cabinet and face to the supplier when they had imperfections. This made Beau's schedule more complicated, and I'm sure less scrupulous craftsmen would've hung them and moved on, but Beau pointed these things out to us, because he wanted us to be satisfied. He pays attention to details and does what he says. I'd recommend him to a friend (which, incidentally, is how I got his name in the first place).

We were very happy with Beau Pictor and his staff. They were extremely pleasant to have around, very courteous and accommodating. Their work is lovely. We entered our bathroom remodeling project without a clear plan in place. Beau was incredibly helpful and patient during the design process. Beau kept in good contact with us throughout the project. He is a very sweet guy! He both started and finished on time!

People often talk about how their remodel projects go wrong - delays, cost overruns, miscommunications, inconvenience. Nothing of the sort happened working with Beau and his team - in fact it was the opposite. I'm so impressed with Beau's level of professionalism, attention to detail, strong project management skills and breadth of knowledge in so many areas. He's a great communicator and does what he says he will do when he says he will do it. He also has a great eye for design and uses his creativity both in how he designs a beautiful space and also in his problem solving. This attention extends to everything; from designing/visioning, breaking out the budget and tracking it throughout and helping shop for materials, to laying out fireplace tiles for the best pattern, keeping a clean workspace and troubleshooting random house issues that cropped up during the project, When my furnace broke for unrelated reasons while I was out of town during the project, Beau jumped on it right away and used his connections to link up my family with his hv/ac guy who was able to come on very short notice to replace the unit. Having 4 guys working 9-5 in your house for a couple of months could be a major inconvenience especially with small kids and a dog, but honestly, they are all such nice, respectful guys, it was a pleasure. It is clear that the whole team takes a lot of pride in the work they do. Beau, Jimmy, Ian and Skye each took the time to perfect every small detail on my remodel - and that extra care shows in the final product. I can't recommend Creative Kitchens and Baths enough. I LOVE my new kitchen and floors - everything looks fabulous and works just as it should. I would work with these guys again in a heartbeat!

Beau and his team did a fantastic job designing and rebuilding our front porch. It's beautiful but functional and ready to stand up to a rainy Seattle winter. From start to finish, the entire experience was great. Beau is meticulous and detail-oriented and he has a great eye for design. Communication was also great - I never worried about a thing, and I always knew what to expect. He'll be the first person I call when I'm ready for a kitchen remodel.
