Michael and Betty are the best. They rebuilt my functional but bland house in Irvine Terrace - pulling the house down to the studs and then recreating it in the 'modern farmhouse' style. In addition to their design vision, they bring their relationships with some excellent sub-contractors and tradespeople. They completed the project on-budget - after having done a very good job of estimating (and contracting for) the various expense categories and sub-contractors. If you are buying a house from them or having them renovate your house, Michael and Betty really bring vision and quality to their projects.

Michael and Betty are an amazing team as you can see by their work and photos. Outside of his expertise, I personally love his down to earth/trusting demeanor. They are currently building a home for my client on Lido Isle and she is also thrilled with me having referred her to Graystone.

Michael and Betty renovated our Newport home. The remodel was quite extensive involving flooring, windows, shoring of a 2nd floor, addition of a bedroom / bathroom, electrical, plumbing and interior design. Michael met constantly with us throughout the process to keep us informed of the progress, budget, and decisions that required attention. Betty was instrumental with the design elements and provided expert advice on all finishes. Her expertise is invaluable. We were so pleased with the results they are currently building a custom home from the ground up for us in Laguna.

Michael and Betty have a beautiful aesthetic and a wonderful eye for detail. Not to mention, they are great people to work with! They build gorgeous, high quality homes. Michael is a talented builder who gets the job done on-budget and on-time, while Betty makes sure it all looks fantastic. Graystone Custom Builders are legendary in high-end areas of Newport Beach and CdM. They are simply the best if you are looking for a home with timeless appeal. Graystone handles their projects from beginning to end, taking responsibility for design phase through installation. They do custom and spec homes. Because they do both, they are VERY cognizant of time and make things happen without having to be present to 'manage' them. They even helped an out of town client furnish the home.
