Albano's Concrete

Horrible unprofessional company headed by Bill Schuck. He took and cashed our deposit the first day and did nothing productive since then. He tracked footprints through the stain he was using to treat the concrete in our basement. He never showed up on time or even on the same day he said he would. He never showed up to fix the footprint marks or finish the project-leaving us out $1400 and needing to hire a real professional to fix the mess he left us with. He also left the outside of our home trashed with old buckets and tool boxes, rags, trash, and hazardous materials. Working with Bill and Albano's Concrete was a horrible, stressful experience. Please do not use this company. After he disappeared on us we had several others in the concrete company come and evaluate the mess he'd made of our home-they all said he had no idea what he was doing!!!

Bill and his helper replaced a section of concrete in our front walkway and stained our rear patio. The new front concrete was done very reasonably and looks amazing. The patio stain looks fantastic, and Bill was a fantastic communicator throughout the entire process. I definitely appreciate the time he took to both explain options and to make sure the stain pattern was exactly what we wanted. Thanks again.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. SHODDY WORK. WORK NOT GUARANTEED! Bill and Laura, the owners, were hired to recolor and reseal about 800 sq. ft. of stamped concrete at our house in northwest Denver for $1,900 in May 2015. They seemed knowledgeable and honest during the contracting phase, but now I know that it not the case. The seal immediately failed in many locations, coloring is way off in one large area, and the sealer is clumpy and congealed all over the front porch. Bill has been ignoring my repeated calls and texts for almost 4 months since the work was completed, and paid for in full, and I have no faith that he will honor the 1-year warranty stated in our contract. He had the nerve to tell me that we are outside of his typical service area, so apparently now that he is busy elsewhere he doesn’t intend to honor our contract. If you go against my advice and hire Albano’s then I strongly suggest that you reserve some percentage of payment until a few weeks after the work is completed so that you have some leverage to actually get him to come back. I should have known better than to hire someone off of craigslist. Unfortunately it appears that my only recourse is to take them to small claims court so that I can get a refund and hire a reputable company to redo the work.

I am filing a lawsuit against his company. They stole my money and destroyed my driveway. They worked a total of 9 hours and never returned. They never finished their work, and when they prepped my driveway they made hundreds of pits n it, failed to seal before the rain (they never showed until afternoon before it rained) the color drained down the driveway..got overspray all over my house, brick, fence...this is a disastrous company...they had me drive by their other work...they have it down to a tee how to rip people. Im filing a lawsuit and hope to get these losers out of the threat to the public consumers. Do not give them any money upfront! They took my money. I had 3 professional companies come now and look at my driveway, all are writing letters to the attorney general, it was horrendous the tiny bit of work they did. Heed this warning public!!!
