Studio Four Architects Ltd

On the recommendation of our planning consultant we approached Studio Four architects and Claire Lingham specifically to help us redevelop our farmyard to be able to convert the traditional buildings into 2 holiday cottages. We chose to work with Claire having seen work that she had done on a similar project. We liked her style and ideas as well as her proactive attitude and asked her to do the drawings as well as monitor the work. She put the project out to tender and we chose one of the three builders that she put forward who completed the project on schedule and on budget. In particular we wanted to ensure that the traditional barns were light and spacious and her design achieved this very well which can be a challenge when working with traditional buildings. We are very pleased with the results and guests that have stayed with us all comment very favourably on the development. The project was shortlisted for an RICS design award and has been used as an example of great rural development by Test Valley Borough Council

Claire Lingham and team at Studio4 did an excellent job for us when we built a house from a collection of outbuildings. She is efficient, organised and professional whilst being a pleasure to work with. The project won a prestigious award from the RICS. We are now working with Claire on a second project.
