California Closets of the Texas Hill Country

I am an interior designer and had two closets designed for a client and ordered these in December 2020. It is august of 2021 and the closet still is not done. The rep Mariana we worked it was beyond incompetent and unprofessional, not to mention entitled and very cold and impersonal. We paid over $10000 for these very small closets and they have done nothing but provide an untimely, faulty design, shotty workmanship and poor overall customer service- from the rep, to the installers, to the scheduling manager. It’s all been a horrible experience. We have tried to escalate the situation to management, just to find them over stretched , and though polite for a change, have gotten zero dont to help our situation. Still hoping to wrap this up within the year but who knows. Stay far far away.

One of the worst experiences of our life. I would advise anyone doing business with this franchise to have a lawyer review and rewrite the contract before signing up. Our brand new never lived in home was flooded by them during the installation of their products and their insurance company was not very accommodating.

Will NEVER use this company again! Had a job scheduled for Feb 2021..... it’s now nearing the end of APRIL and my job is STILL not complete. Have had terrible communication...The lady “Tracy” in the office has been incredibly RUDE to us. HAD TO HIRE A GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO FINISH THEIR JOB! Absolutely unacceptable for the cost.

Jamie was great help in designing a functional closet in a very small space and the installer was early and finished early. The end product looks amazing!

I worked with Kathy to outfit my boring builder grade walk-in closet. She leveraged every square inch to fit my needs. The outcome surpassed my expectations. The small touches made all the difference. For the first time, I have a beautiful closet which I love! The best part, it fits everything very nicely.

Design and consultation was a very easy process. Installation went great with a very professional crew. I highly recommend them.

I hired California Closets to design and install a closet in our tiny nursery room. The closet itself is very small so I wasn't expecting a dramatic difference but once I saw the plans I realized that my expectations were way too low. The new closet space is fantastic. It looks gorgeous and my storage plan became so easy to implement. Rae Ann Hill was our Cali Closets rep and she was really sweet and helpful and did not laugh at the pitiful attempt at storage we had in place before she swooped in with her high quality materials and brilliant plan. Luxury home clients expect luxury features like custom tailored closets. The builders trim carpenter cannot delivery the level of features and functionality that is available from California Closets and the trim carpenter will not give you a guarantee for product and workmanship for as long as you own your home - California Closets will. I loved how easy it was to have my closets designed for my personal needs. Working with Shanna was wonderful, she helped to bring my vision to life. David did the installation and was absolutely professional. The price was just slightly higher than if I "DIY'd it" using ready to assemble pieces from other popular retailers, and with using California Closets the only labor on my part was removal of my belongings to prepare for the installation. What a bonus!
