Our closet install was completed in one day, three weeks later. From our initial meeting Heather was professional, friendly and helpful. She listened to our ideas and envisioned our style to design a great closet and mud room. CA stayed in contact between design and install to confirm we were still on schedule. Heather consulted with us when engineers suggested a structural change to the mudroom for durability, they didn't have to do that, so I was impressed. The install crew was on time, early in fact, friendly and professional. They worked clean and efficiently. The install was completed under the estimated time and to our satisfaction. Working with Closet America was an amazing experience from beginning to end. First, a young lady came out to measure the closet and design a system that would work for us. She showed us the different materials, which she brought with her so that we could see and feel what we were choosing for our closet. After everything was decided we were put on the schedule for 5 or 6 weeks out. During the waiting period, we were called multiple times to remind us of the appointment. On the day of, the gentleman who was installing the closet was on time, respectful of my home, and did a quick but excellent job. I love my closet and have been recommending them to anyone who would listen!

It takes 3 months for them to build a poorly designed system. Requested that shelves be wide enough to hold two stacks of folded shirts, sweaters, or jeans. Shelves are only wide enough to hold one stack of items. They don't make the units from wall to wall. They leave spacing on all sides and fill it in with strips that they charge me for, and they didn't tell me about it. I had to call them during the install to find out why the unit was not from wall to wall. I feel cheated.

I was very happy with my choice to use Closet America. The woman who came to my home initially helped me design what I wanted and left me with a very nice printed design so I could see how it would look.

I have used Closet America in two houses now. The first was a huge master closet and laundry room. The second was two small master closets and a double home office. Closet America updated 4 of my closets and installed an organization system in my mud room. The results were amazing! At the first and only appointment, I worked with a designer who surveyed my spaces and then we discussed my goals. In the 2 hours we worked together, the designer created my new spaces on her computer. I was able to make changes as we went and get to the final outcome I wanted. She also had samples of the materials that I could see and touch. Installation took place about 4 weeks later and was so efficient. Two employees installed everything within 7 hours and there was no mess. My new closet and mud room systems have added so much space and long term value to my home. I will get the full value of what I spent. I highly recommend Closet America.

Overall great job. Our second closet we had done with them. the Quality of the shelves, drawers, system overall is excellent with lifetime warranty- can't beat that. Only issue would be the initial tear out was not done in great quality, but they backed up their work- had it redone before installing the system. This second closet really maximized the space and will be doing our other closet the same very soon.

She did such an amazing job on designing that closet that I contacted her to come out to design my shoe closet which was just installed over the weekend. I absolutely love it! perfection from start to finish. the consultation and design session (which my husband was dreading) was a breeze and actually kinda fun (husband enjoyed it!). closets were installed when and how they said they would be. materials are incredibly sturdy; the closets haven't moved or wobbled a centimeter. you can tell everything is very high quality. i also loved that everyone we dealt with through the process was an actual employee, not a contractor. that really showed throughout because they cared about their jobs, the company name, and the product they stood behind. if you're in the hunt for a closet system, skip doing it yourself and use Closet America (i learned that the hard way). Their work was excellent from start to finish. They completed our closets in 1/2 day. On of our cabinets turned out to be too large for the space and they remade it without any charge. We had them design a shelf unit to match the pantry they built and it matched perfectly.

Everyone from the sales person to the receptionist to the installers were great to work with! Everyone was on time and said they would finish when they actually did. Our salesperson designed our closet within our means and pertinent to the way we live. The materials they used are very sturdy and I can't say enough about how I wished we would have done this sooner! I highly recommend this local company!

The technology and way they do the estimating is really neat and gives you a great sense of how the project will turn out. I liked how the estimator showed us various layouts and helped us find the right solution for our space and our budget. The installers were timely and did great work very quickly.

We love our custom closet organization system. It is perfect, just as the designer showed us before installation. We got 2 closets done - one dark wood - masculine, and one white - which I love. Very open and spacious. The installers were fast and the materials used sturdy and worth the money. You won't be disappointed.

We are so happy with our closet from Closet America. Before the closet was installed, we had stuff all over the closet and all over the bedroom. Our closet is a walk-in, but really fairly small with just enough room to step inside. The designer, Carla, worked with us to complete a design that worked for us and made use of every inch of the closet. Carla seemed very experienced and knowledgeable and made several suggestions that improved on our original ideas but she did not push more expensive options. We choose the white laminate, which was the least expensive option, and it seems sturdy. After working with Carla, we received several calls and e-mails verifying the schedule. (We had the floor refinished before the closet was installed.) They are really on top of the schedule. I am so happy with the closet and love having a place for everything and even some extra shelves. Its amazing how much we can get into the closet, The only downside was the price of the tear-out of the original closet. We thought it was overpriced so we had a handyman do it for less.

Had three closet interiors remodeled. Very professional installation with no snafus. Installer was courtrous and friendly. Practical use of the spaces has been maximized.

I have done my Master Bedroom closet, office closet, guest bedroom closet, pantry, and laundry room with Closet America and have nothing but great things to say about them. Really amazing. They came out while my renovation was still happening. They measured the raw space, came back to make sure there were no issues before starting the job. It turned out GREAT and looks exactly like the drawing. The rep didn't try to 'up sell' anything. She was honest about the offerings - what would cost a little more, where I could save. She looked at all my shoes (lots) and made recommendations. Every step was awesome.

Our experience with Closet America was first class from the first phone call to our session with our designer, Ben, he was great, right on through the design and execution. He was creative and helpful as well, suggesting areas where our house had unused space that would be perfect for Closet America storage, as with the hanging storage for the garage ceiling - what a great idea. I have to say too, the quality of the product itself and the proficiency of the installation crew made for a perfect product perfectly delivered and installed. The product itself is fantastic, but beyond that the people part of it all made it a truly satisfying professional experience. In the end we did four spaces and everything was perfect. Great product, great people with great people skills, Closet America is a class act and we would use them again for the right project, and we would recommend them to all of our friends. The short and sweet: Use them-they're locally based, they know their stuff, they're very professional and personable, and will definitely work with you! They not only customize their closets, they customize your EXPERIENCE to you. The longer version: I've now used Closet America three times now, for three different closets in two different homes, one a condo in 2012 and my current home, the master bedroom in 2015 and the spare bedroom in 2016. ALL THREE TIMES have been wonderful experiences and I have no complaints. From the design, the estimate, the DISCOUNTS (they offer financing options!), the scheduling and install, are all top notch to me. They really pride themselves on customer service and making you happy. All three times, I have done the tear out, spackle/sanding, and painting on my own because I always wanted a custom background color. Like other reviewers, they will offer you this service if you can't get it done or like the ease of all-in-one. As an Asian, I very much appreciated that ALL three times (which means this is part of their standard operating procedure), my installers took off their shoes just inside the door and continue to carry the shelves and items to the bedroom, shoeless. I know not everyone will find this customary, but again, as an Asian, I super delighted at this small detail lol. Each time, I've had different installers, yet their work is spot on, timely, and they clean up afterwards! So I have to give Closet America for having very detailed and thoughtful standard operating procedure for their installs. As an OCD clean freak, this only makes me even happier at the end of each install :) For the designs, their designers are top notch, measure your items if available or you point out that you want a certain thing of set of things to fit on a shelf or rack, and any customization you need. I'll tell you, every purse/handbag, tote bag, clutch, stiletto (shoe racks are adjustable and they're willing to do it for you while they're there!), blouse and dress fits PERFECTLY in every closet I've had. And the other reviewers are correct, the designers will apologize to YOU for running over on time, even when its bc you were being too picky and had a million things to add on (raised hand-i've definitely done this). I can't remember my first designer's name from 2012, but for my recent master closet, I actually got to work with Dan on my design, in their showroom. And I'm going to delve into this further in the next section bc I saw one review complain about the home buying issue. Jennifer was my last designer and she did my spare bedroom and media center (to be done later this year) wonderfully, too. NOTE: If you are in the process of buying a home, and have NOT closed on it yet, technically, if you read your contract, especially if it is a condo, you cannot have contractors come to measure or do anything in preparation for future work BEFORE you have closed on the home. I ran into this issue on my last purchase. However, Closet America worked with me to work around this by having me come to the showroom with my own measurements (they gave me a guideline sheet) to at least start the design process and pricing out. This is what Dan did for me, so that I could have everything manufactured, and scheduled for install two days after I closed on the house (I wanted my contractors to tear out a small wall to expand my closet opening on the front, it had double bifolds, on the first day and repaint prior to installation) so that I could quickly unpack all my clothes after the move. When I say they work with you, Dan definitely worked with me on this so that I could time everything out perfectly. Now when you initially call them for an initial design but have not closed on the house, they will tell you that they can't come out to do that. And its true. But its not the end-as the buyer under contract, you can request to enter the home, get your measurements, and get your design. I'm sure I'll add more or edit this review, but after working with Closet America over the last 4 years and two different homes, I know, that I will always use them in the future if I'm still in the area. Custom closets are not meant to be cheap, but they run specials throughout the year that you can catch, and as repeat customers, you get a little more, too, as a Thank you. I had even priced out online, I forget from whom, to get the materials shipped to me for free and I find someone or install it myself, you just pay for the materials, and it was not that much cheaper than having Closet America take care of everything for you. We moved into a deck home with a craftsman style that had an existing dressing room in the master suite. The room was complete with beautiful mahagony closet doors with exquisite detail. The Closet America sales representative came to our home and spent a great amount of time and attention to detail to design an additional shelf, drawer, and hanging system, as well as a shoe nook. The difficulty was keeping the integrity of the already beautifully designed dressing room and Closet America did such a fantastic job matching the many wood elements! But the best part is the quality and craftsmanship of the product. Everything is sturdy with first class detail and it will last forever in our forever home! We met with a professional sales person at our home, who took measurements and together we sat down to configure the best hanging and storage solutions for two closets. The the installer came and transformed the closets into functional storage. We were very happy with the value of this purchase!

The designer spent quality time designing and revising until a final design was agreed upon. She was very helpful and professional. Meanwhile, the inside design group & cust.svc. were friendly, knowledgeable & supportive. The installer was on time, courteous, cautious while working and stayed-the-course. The only thing I'm uncertain about is the cost. I did get several designs & quotes. I went w/Closet America for the quality; for being a local company; & for all the time spent by the designer, but I'm not sure what I paid is reasonable.

Process from start to finish was above all. The customer service and product is by far top notch! Our consultation was lengthy, but you do get to understand the quality of their system more. Eric was great and he definitely had patience and listened to our needs. Upon first quote, we decided to try and change things around a little in order to get closer to our target price. Annnnnd DONE! We jumped on the deal that night, which is going to be the best rate you will get (even with their discounts throughout the year). Installation took a minimal amount of time and the guys were beyond professional. At the end of the day, we will come back for more and we will definitely recommend Closet America to anyone that asks.

I got a quote from this company for a closet. Unfortunately they came in the highest and I did not like their sales tactics. One of their tactics is they will only give you a very large discount if you sign a contract the day they come to your house for measurement and estimate. I don't trust a business that forces a decision on you that way. (And with that big discount, it still was my highest quote by about 20%) I checked their ratings beforehand and they had excellent ratings (thus why I chose to have them come out for an estimate) however I would take all those reviews with a grain of salt. One of the ways you qualify for their large discount is by posting a positive review online at a few sites. This with that information I could no longer trust the reviews. I gave this two stars because the product looks good (in their workshop) and their employees are very courteous.

I bought a new townhome and wanted to redo my closet. I wanted to time the closet design and installation to coincide with my move into the home. They came to the new townhome before I had closed on it, and measured the closets. We did a design. However, the designer felt like we needed more tiered hanging than I thought we needed. So, we scheduled time to visit my current apartment so she could see my clothes and closets. Ultimately, we came up with the best design. The installation happened right on time and was the week I moved in. They were neat and considerate (I have cats). I love the closet and it is absolutely designed to how I need to live with a closet.

We really enjoyed working w/our designer Jennifer. After deciding Closet America wouldn't work out for us (I really wanted wood custom cabinetry), we still have a good impression of the company, their product, and service. Well, the wood built-ins didn't end up happening, so we immediately thought of calling them back. While our original plan for a home office completely changed, we are very happy with the end result. The installation team was punctual, efficient, and courteous. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful experience with Closet America. We had a small walk-in closet and a reach-in closet that had these horrible shelves with very minimal hanging space. Closet America helped us maximize our space and design two beautiful closets. Most importantly they got my husband out of my closet and into his own. :) Closet America was quick to respond. Not more than 10 minutes after I submitted an online request for an in home consultation did I receive a call to set up an appointment. They asked a few questions and took the time to explain the timing and the process of the consultation. We did not want to wait for the next available Saturday appointment, but they were able to accommodate or work schedules and come later in the evening. Our designer, Olga, was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable and took the time to measure everything accurately before entering the measurements into her computer and designing our closets right in front of us. She stayed at our house to after 10PM taking the time to thoroughly describe the different products and materials to us. The next day, I realized I wanted to make a slight change to my hamper and I was able to call Olga, explain what I wanted and she got back to me immediately with the change in price and confirmation that the design had been changed. As promised, within a few days I received the final drawings of our designs. Since our closets had some custom features, it took a few weeks before we could have them installed. The installation went off without a hitch. The installer was on-time and took about 4.5 hours to remove the old shelving and rods, spackle the holes and to install the new systems. He took the time to clean up after himself and to explain how all the shelving and items worked. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience from start to finish with Closet America. They were priced a little on the higher end but the quality of the product is worth it and they are willing to work with you on price to earn your business. We had our closets installed a few months ago and I will still go into our walk-in to look at it, amazed at the transformation. I would definitely recommend Closet America to anyone.

I had my closets refurbished and tailored to my exact dimensions and could not be happier with the result. Wow! What a total transformation! As the carpenter technicians, Jeremy and Jose were punctual, knowledgeable and fast. Only 3 hours for two walk-ins. They prepped, measured, installed and cleaned up. From Karen's design, to Jeffrey's customer service to the install, everything was perfect. I was so impressed and pleased. Totally worth the price and I'm over-the-moon!

I had a great experience with Closet America. The closet in my condo had that cheap wire shelving, and it had the potential to be a walk in but the shelves only utilized half the closet space. Plus they were ugly, and one of my neighbors told me theirs actually fell down. Yikes!! I got appointments with California Closets, Closets by Design, and Closet America. California Closets came first, on a Wednesday. The guy implied that my closet would be tricky to design, and he'd get back to me in a couple days. By Saturday, when I had my Closet America appointment, I still hadn't heard from him. Closet America designed it right in front of me. In fact, we did two different designs to try to figure out how to best use the space. We went over the estimated 90 minutes, but I wasn't rushed to decide, and my designer thanked ME and apologized to me for going over. Sorry to me? Thanks to YOU for being patient with me as we figure out what's best and how to make it work with my budget!! My Closets by Design appointment was for the following Wednesday, and I ended up canceling, so I can't comment on a comparison between them and Closet America. To be honest, when I saw the price, my jaw dropped. Ouch! It's not cheap. The first go-round I picked everything how I wanted it... fancy cherry finish, shoe shelves with little rails on the ends... but when the price came out so high, we worked on changes to get the price down. Switching to white took off a GRAND. Wow. Sorry cherry finish, you're not worth it! Then removing the shoe rails took another three hundred off. It was still more than I could stomach. With the discounts they were offering, it got close to something I could handle, but I told my designer honestly, I just can't! Not for that! She asked if I would be able to do it at X price, and I said maybe. She called her manager and was able to offer me that price, and I could stomach it, although it was still more than I expected going in (I'll admit, my expectations were definitely incorrect - custom closets aren't cheap!). I ended up signing up that day, because she had added about 10% more off for signing that day plus the negotiated lower price. And I was excited! The fact that she came on a Saturday and did two closet designs was far more impressive than Mr. This-Is-Going-To-Be-Tricky from California Closets and his design that would come two days later. They not only consult on Saturdays, they install on Saturdays, which is fantastic. I did have to wait a couple weeks to get a Saturday, but they were able to get me in a month earlier than originally estimated, so I was thrilled. The guy came first thing in the morning, and he was done before noon. I was told it would take all day, so I was shocked to peek in the closet when he stepped out to find he was done! Also, he got all the materials up to my condo in one trip, on a cart. That was great, because I can't reserve the freight elevator at my condo on Saturdays, and I was worried the multiple trips on an elevator in use by other people would be bothersome to him. No problem! They offered to take out my old shelves for an additional fee, but since I was already maxing out the amount I was willing to spend, I opted to do it myself. I was glad I did, too, because their standard tear out involves spackle without sanding, and no paint, and their more involved tear out was $250 (sand spackle, patch paint). The standard tear-out has a cost per foot of wire shelving, with the first 10 feet being free, and since I had 12 feet of shelving, it would be $50 for them to tear it out and spackle. I tore out the shelves myself a week early, spackled and sanded myself, and then painted the whole closet a new color to contrast with the $1k less expensive white shelves I ended up getting. I was able to take my time, and have the closet empty and dry and ready to go on installation day. My spackle, sand, and paint job cost me maybe $50, with $20 of that being re-usable paint supplies. The end result is perfect. It looks fabulous and will definitely contribute to resale value when I decide to move. By the way, the estimate from California Closets came in the Monday after the Saturday I signed up with Closet America, and the estimate was right around the amount I ended up paying for Closet America, but California Closets quote included their nicer wood finish. However, that company has some terrible reviews, and in their design, a lot of stuff was hanging from the walls, which my Closet America designer pointed out may not be as secure as one would want, and could fall down. Plus, their reviews sounded like they're just generally lower quality. So, I could have gotten a wood finish, in a much complained about quality, or a white finish in a high quality. I'll take the second any day! Plus, with the pretty blue color I picked for the walls, I think I maybe even like the white better than I'd have liked the cherry!

Closet America installed two separate walk-in closets in our master bedroom. The final product was excellent, and it provided us with more room than we could ever imagine! More than that, the service from the person who installed the closet was phenomenal! He went above and beyond to personalize our installation! He talked us through the entire installation, showed us how everything worked, and cleaned everything up before leaving. He was extremely pleasant and polite! We truly enjoyed having him! We can't wait to have Closet America come back again!

Great service from start to finish. I put in a request online for a free estimate and literally 10 seconds later I recieved a phone call to schedule the appointment. Olga came to my condo to go over the design of my closet and provide a price quote. She spent a long time with me and made sure my master closet was exactly how I wanted it. I did not feel rushed at all or pressured to make a decision that day. I did decide to go ahead and make the decision to purchase the closet. A few days prior I had gotten a quote from another closet company and although that quote was lower I decided to go with Closet America because their materials seemed better quality and their reviews were better. Olga was able to work with me on the price which I appeciated a lot. A couple weeks later the closet was installed. The installer called when he was 20 min out and was on time. He came at 8am and was out of the door at 1015am. My master closet is small but he got it done in a reasonable amount of time and it looks great!! I can't wait to fill up my closet with clothes and shoes. I highly recommend this company for the great customer service and quality of the closet.

This company designed a home office for me, and did an outstanding job. There was one small snag during the installation, but when they realized this problem, they found a great solution, made a return visit to implement it, and didn't charge me additional for this change. I designed a small master bedroom walk-in closet with Closet America. I was impressed with the quality of products as well as the professionalism and customer service of all of the employees on this project - designer, office staff, and installers. I love that this company is a locally-owned business in Prince George's County, MD, that the products are locally manufactured, and that all of the staff were direct employees rather than subcontractors. The company scheduled our design consult very quickly and our designer offered us a nice range of options for a price that fit our modest budget. I never felt pressure to spend more than I wanted to and she did not seem disappointed that this was a small project. The installers arrived on time and finished the project is less time than they estimated. I plan to work with this company again in the future.

We really enjoyed working with Closet America - Within a couple of days of meeting them at the 2014 Capital Pride event, we had an in-home consultation with designer Jen B. She arrived for the appointment on time and started to work through the three master closets we have been trying to build out since we bought our condo in 2010. We had tried other products in small spaces in the condo but were not happy with the design or durability. We had also consulted with other closet organization companies but could not agree on a design or price. Jen quickly provided some ideas and within an hour or so we had a very workable plan. Once we cleared out the contents and had the existing shelving removed, walls repaired and repainted red, Closet America schedule a day to install the new system. They arrive right on time, and it only took about 3 1/2 hours to complete the installations. They did a great job and left everything as they had found it, neat and clean. Remodeling master closets would never be a minor expense no matter who you decide on. Working with Closet America was worth the expense; the customer service, follow-up, and quality of the materials are all excellent!

The installers were very professional abd took great care in protecting the entry way when they brought in the materials. The installation of the closets were seamless and everything fit like a glove. The materials used is of excellent quality and we're very happy with choosing Closet America.

We've had our closet for a year and I've had so much fun organizing! It's functional and beautiful and rock solid. I love the shoe racks because I can see all of my shoes now and am actually able to put outfits together faster and am wearing all of my shoes now. Before, when they were all in bins, I would forget that I had some! I also love how classy the closet looks. The people I worked with were nice, helpful, very knowledgable and quick to respond. Walk-in closet design and install. We met with a designer who was young, energetic, knowledgeable and very professional. Her detailed explanation and demonstration of the high quality materials and techniques used during manufacturing and installation were what sold us on hiring Closet America. The design was functional and incorporated all of our "requests" and also some ideas that we hadn't thought of. The installers were neat, extremely professional and efficient. Closet America provided us with an outstanding experience from start to finish and we are thrilled with our new closet.

My condo had no storage space and a very oddly shaped closet in the master bedroom, so I was looking for someone to design a mud room/storage area near the front entry and to build out the master bedroom closet in a way that would allow for more than just hanging clothes. I contacted three companies in total and, from the start, Closet America (CA) was the most professional and responsive. I also appreciated that their factory is local and they have a lot of control over the final product/can make adjustments quickly. The CA designer was wonderful - she arrived promptly and had a great sense of space and how to use it most effectively while keeping the storage areas aesthetically pleasing. The design software CA uses was helpful for visualizing what the final product would look like the space and the designer's measurements were spot-on. The installers were also very professional and took the time to clean up after they finished. The quality of materials is outstanding and everyone I encountered was pleasant, knowledgeable, and truly customer-oriented. I'm happiest with how the closet turned out as it was pretty much useless before CA came in. Now, I have a built-in hamper, ample space to hang clothes ranging in length from shirts to long gowns, and lots of shelving. I truly could not be more thrilled with CA and my experience with the company.

Houses of this vintage in this area are notorious for lack of closet space. While we had been able to expand the MBR closet during a remodeling project, we knew we needed to make the very best possible use of the space we had. Closet America helped us do that--far better than we could have done on our own. Jennifer visited the site, talked to us about our needs, and took detailed initial measurements of 4 closets--master BR walk-in closet, entry coat closet, and two smaller BR closets. She then drafted an initial 3D plan which helped us visualize the project. The plan was further refined, final measurements were taken, the various elements were fabricated, and then it was all installed followed by full clean-up. The quality of the materials is excellent throughout. The plan came up with solutions we could not have envisioned on our own. We were in frequent direct contact either in person or by phone or e-mail with the designers, who were all a delight to work with. The installation crew was professional, courteous, efficient, and very careful to protect existing furniture as well as clean up afterwards. After a month living with the results, we are still delighted and amazed at how much more storage space we have, and how accessible it is--and how good it looks. You just don't know what an impact your closets have on your quality of life--for better or for worse! There may be a couple more closets in the future that will need some work. If or when that time comes, without a doubt, we're going to call Closet America direct.

When the person came to install the closet, he was on time. I was also given a time frame the job would be completed and he was done much sooner so that was nice. Cleaned up after himself so didn't have to worry about a mess. Overall everyone was very professional.

The experience we had with Closet America was excellent. The designer who visited our house stayed until my wife and I were completely satisfied with the design, and he also came up with a closet system that gave us over 2 times the usable space as the existing system. The installers were quick and efficient, completing everything in 1 day as they said they would. Since using the closet we have had them out one more time to reconfigure the system a little (my wife is not tall), and again they were very prompt and courteous. Overall, I think this is one of the best things we have done for the house. Its not cheap, but you really get what you pay for!

Removed existing shelving in walk-in closet and replaced it with a modular unit. The designer was very creative in choosing the best plan for the closet utilizing every square inch of space. All the staff at Closet America were very professional and competent. I was very pleased with the overall experience. The installer was quite well-trained and knew exactly what he was doing. Closet America was by far the most well constructed product, while offering affordable options for a young teenager's room. Recently we needed to remodel our Master Bedroom Closet as we were out of room and needed help in designing a closet to use the space efficiently. Closet America was professional starting with the initial phone call, the sales call (to our house on a Saturday!!!) up to and including the installation of the closet system. They use high quality materials and you price was very reasonable. The salesperson showed up on a Saturday to help us design it and provided a quote while she was still there. It gave us an opportunity to work with her on the design and take care of the contract the same day. The salesperson was excellent and listened to our ideas and used her experience to provide us the best possible design for our space. Once we signed the contract, Closet America kept us up to date as to the progress of our project. We heard from them multiple times to let us know that they were still on time and would be ready on the day promised. The technician was very professional, called before he arrived and showed up on time. He laid out his materials and was respectful of our home. The area that he worked was kept neat and clean. When one part of the job was completed he cleaned up the area before moving on to the next. The closet has at least doubled our storage space if not more and we still have empty shelves and rack space in it. If you wish to do business with a professional company I would not hesitate to recommend Closet America to you.

Closet America turned our nightmare closet into a dream closet! We came home from work one day to discover that our bedroom closet racks had collapsed. We'd never been too happy with our tiny closet, but we certainly hadn't planned to have all of our clothes and belongings on the floor. We decided to use this as an opportunity to get a new closet. Closet America came up with the perfect design for our small space, and it now holds so much more than it did before -- and it's organized. Not too long after this, we had Closet America come back to redo our laundry room. Once again, they created a design that gave our teeny weeny laundry room the storage space of a huge one. Everyone at Closet America was a pleasure to deal with. We'll be calling them again soon for a new project.

The process for an estimate certainly started off on the wrong foot. I had left work early to meet with our consultant, when I received a phone call on my cell that Closet America was cancelling our appointment. After about 45 minutes, someone at Closet America was able to find a consultant that could come to our place a little later that evening - so that did work out and we were very pleased with the closet that our consultant designed. All communication about the planned install went great and the installers called as promised before their arrival. The install work was done in less time than we expected by a very professional install team and it looks great! After we received a follow up call to see how everything went, that is when we discovered our only problem: A place on the wall directly below the wall strip, where a hole had been drilled in error and then patched and left white (unpainted) and without the installers telling us that this had been done. I'll be painting that spot today, but had they at least told us about it then Closet America would have earned five stars. Even with this small negative, I highly recommend this company!

We had the very best experience with Closet America. The designer was wonderful and spent a lot of time with us to make our perfect space. We were contacted frequently to make sure that everything was going according to plan. The installers were very punctual and neat.

We had our builder grade wire rack system in master closet replaced today. The installer was ON TIME (for DC area, that's remarkable), very knowledgeable about installation, very courteous about not wearing shoes in our house (took them off while getting set up and then wore booties during installation (for safety), and even vacuumed when finished. The new system of hanging areas, shelves, and cabinets is going to neatly store WAY more than the wire racks stacked on top of each other. Love supporting local business and chose Closet America over others at recommendation of a friend who works there. We are very impressed with the quality of the system that was custom made for our closet and installed to laser-level specifications.

Fast and friendly service. We designed our closet and it turned out better than we expected! Great quality and well worth the money! We have an oversized closet, bigger than normal closet but not a full walk-in. Originally, it had a single bar and a self above it. We chose the sectional and drawer design: left sections on the left and on the right, a top section and drawer. More space efficient and we love the drawers! The bottom "hidden" lift drawer is great, too!

I love the job that was done. I had an extra bedroom turn into a walk in closet and i love it so much! I get a lot of compliments on my closet now. I also had a closet turn into an entertainment center. Our closet has shelves and a tv in it now. and our hall closets have beautiful shelves with a roll out baskets for cleaners and toilet paper.....its amazing. Can't wait for the next project

We had Closet America install custom closets in our home just over two years ago. We have been very happy with the results and the increased organization and space available was worth the cost. While they are not the cheapest product that we looked at I think their durability, delivery, and ability to design a good closet for your space and needs is worth the additional cost. We would use them again.

I had never heard about Closet America until I received a mailer. I was just about to have a master closet redone during a whole house rehab so I gave them a call. They responded immediately and set up an appointment with a designer. (California Closets took weeks to get back to me). The designer was awesome. She explained everything in detail and came up with a plan that best suited my needs. I had several other companies come in to bid on the project and Closet America was by far the least expensive yet still delivered a very high quality product. The scheduling people were very helpful especially because we were running behind and need to move the original install date back. The installers were in and out in a matter of hours. I am in love with the finished product. Would use them again and would recommend them to anyone in a Manhattan minute!
