About Us

In October 2003, Michael founded Coastal Construction Management, LLC. The company has completed many exciting projects and several exquisite custom homes along the Connecticut and Rhode Island shorelines. Coastal has constructed and sold high-end speculation projects in Stonington; one of these splendid homes was an HBA Showcase Home with proceeds benefiting the L&M Hospital's NICU; both won a Connecticut HBA's distinguished HOBI award.

Michael and Coastal Construction Management, LLC won Home Building Industry ("HOBI") Awards from the HBA of Connecticut in 2005 and 2007, again in 2011 for Best Custom Home 3,000 to 4,000 sq ft, and most recently in 2012 for Best Vacation Home Remodel.

We hired Mike Scarpa , owner of CoastalConstruction to build us a new home on the Connecticut shoreline. We are almost to the end of the project and it has been a great experience. I would highly reccomend Coastal Construction . The attention to detail, quality workmanship and great communication skills are just some of the positive things I would say.
