Nicole came to Palm Springs to help me with a partially furnished vacation home I recently purchased. She reviewed what worked and what needed enhancement or change in my home. Then we powered through 3 days of shopping on line and in many lovely shops she sourced for me. She helped me select rugs, a gorgeous sofa, kitchen table and chairs, 2 media consoles, an office chair and book shelf. And she chose unique and lovely decor items like those you can see in the photo of the kitchen. She took steps to organize my bathroom items and helped choose art. She removed clutter and added cuteness to my coffee bar. Her suggestions for wallpaper/paint and mirrors and barn doors for my pilates/peloton/meditation room were excellent. She ordered indoor greenery for certain areas. She was just amazing. The BEST. No hidden up charges. Just upfront transparent fees that were so worth it. I highly recommend Nicole. She has style and taste and was a pleasure to be with during the project. She stays in touch with me since returning to Canada. Many items we chose have not arrived so I cannot show photos of the finished project but it will be amazing.

Nicole did an amazing design for my new lake house. Modern but with a focus on my style. Everyone who has visited has said "wow!!". it is stunning and beyond my expectations. It is elegant yet practical with lots of storage in the right places.

We enjoyed working with Nicole at Copper & Oak on a significant home renovation in Vernon, BC. She is a consummate professional and has top-rate design abilities. Nicole’s knowledge, attention to detail, ability to listen and understand our needs and wants were significant assets. Our renovation project ran for seven months. We were not able to be in Vernon, BC, for the first half of the work. Nicole acted as our onsite eyes and ears. She went over and above, acting on our behalf and regularly providing clear communications along the way with ourselves and a large variety of trades, suppliers, and contractors. Nicole helped make sure our builder completed the project to a high level of execution aligned to our vision. We happened upon Nicole-Copper + Oak Design, through the builders of our new home. Nicole had been instrumental in the existing design and layout so we thought we would continue to use her expertise in helping us further with the interior of our home. Working with Nicole was an amazing experience. What started as a simple paint change and built-in cabinet, turned into a whole main floor refresh and Nicole was there every step of the way. We worked together remotely through Facetime / email and yet she never waivered on what would work, even without seeing the space in person. And her recommendations were bang on. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with the end result - it's absolutely stunning and I couldn't have done it without Nicole's keen eye and great style. We decided to renovate our kitchen and bathroom in a 1940’s home. It was important to us to try and keep with the style of the house while making it modern. Nicole listened to what we were envisioning and helped that vision come true! She was with us every step of the renovation, even frequently stopping in to check up on the progress with the tradesmen. We had the pleasure of working with Nicole after we built a custom home, moved in and to my disappointment, our home felt anything but 'home-y'! Nicole was professional, personable and spent time getting to know us and what we needed in our home. She brought our house to life! She added color with plants and warmth with a wooden accent in our previously cold bathroom, still my favourite feature she did was a beautiful family wall down our hallway. She can visualize and explain her vision to me so I can get it, she even somehow made our boys room look bigger even after adding a second bed and night stand... We talk about building again, only next time we'd hire Nicole right from drawing up the plans.
