CPR Custom Concrete

n August of 2015 CPR Custom Concrete was installing a concrete patio at my neighbors home. While they were there I asked them to stop by to give me an estimate for concrete work that needed to be done. This included completely replacing the front entrance and side entrance. The front entrance was collecting water due to original concrete sinking over time and the side had a large crack. CPR not only said they could repair both sides of the house, completely fixing the problem in the front entrance but also stated they could do it that day since the concrete was already at the neighbors house. They ensured me that the water would not puddle and will drain away from the home. I mean, why would I replace the front entrance if the same problem would continue? Why would CPR replace the front entrance if they, being in business for so long, knew that they could not resolve the problem or would make it worse as they did. Well, I trusted they knew what they were doing and would stand behind their work if there were any issues. Guess not. After the concrete settled, the puddling was horrific! They did come back and tried to resolve the issue by making cuts in the newly poured front entrance. But, that didn't work. CPR then stated, they would not come back anymore and if I wanted it resolved, they would charge me to redo the front entrance. I called and asked them to come back and at least make the cuts deeper, never heard from them. The water/ice that built up this winter was extremely dangerous for my children walking out to their bus that they had to exit from the garage many times. The side of the house that was replaced also was poured so that water drains towards the house and not away. CPR did a quick job trying to score extra cash at a job they were already at, took my money and left me with a worse situation than I had. They allowed me to pay cash for the job and never sent me a receipt as requested. I am sure CPR will state that they told me they couldn't pitch concrete on the front and side the way it should because of my driveway has slightly sunk over the years as well. Again, why would I pay for a job that would not resolve the existing issue. Answer: Because I was told by CPR that the water will flow right off to the grass and not puddle up upon completion.
