Just wanted to say how awesome and attentive and knowledgeable David Johnson was in helping us with our main floor kitchen/mudroom/powder room remodel. We needed a lot of lights and I think our heads were spinning from the internet and even when we first walked in. But quickly, David was able to figure out our style and lead us in the direction that would make sense the most. He met with us for a long period of time on a week day and then we returned on a Saturday (busy) and he was still able to bounce from customer to customer and help us make the final decisions. Only negative was that one of our main lights is on back order and sitting on a boat somewhere in another country waiting to be placed in our new space. Thanks David for making a stressful piece of the puzzle, less stressful and please let us know when that light comes in! Brent and Aimee Olson

Our experience at Creative Lighting has been exceptional. We have purchased fixtures from Creative Lighting for several projects over the last 5 years. Every time we are in the store we have had excellent service. Most recently Kyndra Roth has been our specialist. Kyndra has gone out of her way to help us. Kendra even answers emails when she's not in the store and she keeps us up-to-date on when orders are due to come in. Every time we have communication with her or her associates we feel like our business is very important. There are other lighting stores closer to our proximity but we are in a loyal customer to Creative Lighting.

Susan at Creative is wonderful. We had a whole house to choose for and she worked with our designer to make the best selections at the best price. I also love walking around there! One light came with the wrong transformer and she ordered a replacement right away. Love working with her and thanks for making our home full of beautiful light!

Building Concepts and Design

I have worked with Creative Lighting for 10 years on several high end new construction projects. Lighting is one of the first things we do with our clients and Tara and the whole staff assist me greatly in getting things off to a fantastic start. The care and attention to detail taken with each homeowner and set of blueprints is awesome. They take the time to investigate the intent of each project/home and I appreciate how that comes off to our homeowners immensely. Once the order is placed things are turned over to their customer service department where the service is second to none.

Spoke with a sales person and purchased two pendant lights and a chandelier as well as light bulbs and other accessories. The chandelier was not available in the store in the color I wanted but I was assured I could return it when it arrived if I didn't like it. The order was due to be filled in less than two weeks. Three weeks after placing the order the rep called and apologized because she gave me some bad info and the pendant lights were not available in the configuration we discussed. I went back to the store a few days later and we came up with a solution to the problem. Now, a full 2 months after placing the original order, I still have no lights, and they have been sitting on $1300 of mine while I have nothing to show for it. There has been absolutely no communication from the company unless I initiate the call to check on the status of the order. Very disappointing.

Our clients really enjoy visiting the Creative Lighting showroom. Their inventory is constantly kept fresh, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. As a remodeler we appreciate their ability to modify and troubleshoot many of our orders.

I have offices in a few states and this is one of the nicest lighting showrooms I've seen. I have had the pleasure of working with them on projects for over 25 years. The staff and management have always been extremely helpful. Any problem that arose was quickly and easily taken care of to my satisfaction.

We are building a home and have been delighted with the friendly, reliable, responsive, and helpful advice and service that Angie Picotte, at Creative Lighting in St. Paul, MN, has provided us. Angie has proven that she understands building prints, can visualize spaces and make recommendations based on those understandings of the plan. She is also a good listener and incorporates that information well. Angie has a through understanding of her product and therefore I have grown to respect her opinions. However, she does not feel compelled to convince me of anything but has worked with me in this process. Choosing lighting has been an enjoyable process for us, I give Angie credit for her knowledge, people skills and patience.
