Carolyn came highly recommended to me from a friend. She did not disappoint! She was very easy to work with and flexible. We changed the design plans, paint colors, etc. multiple times, and she was patient throughout the process. Her experience managing the basement remodel was very helpful in mapping out the steps and identifying contractors, suggesting showrooms to visit, and finalizing the design. She really tried to ensure we got what we wanted…not just what she recommended. I would highly recommend Carolyn based on the great experience we had working with her.

I would highly recommend working with Rice Moriarty Design. The level of professionalism and attention to detail and quality is fantastic. Carolyn's designs are well thought out and have longevity with her knowldege of classic design but with a contemporary twist. She is great at creating layered, interesting environments. We are big fans of her work.

Carolyn was fantastic to work with! I did not know what to expect when working with an interior designer but she made it really easy and fun. We worked with her to design a complete family room redo. She handled every detail and was respectful of our budget. Our room is absolutely gorgeous and we receive nothing but rave reviews. We would never have been able to put together such a beautiful room on our own. The room looks modern, but warm and welcoming. We look forward to working with Carolyn again soon! I highly recommend her!

We hired Carolyn to help with the design on the complete remodel and addition of our house. We put a large addition on a Dutch Colonial in Elmhurst. She helped me design the kitchen, master bathroom, powder room, all lighting, paint colors and hardwood flooring stain. Carolyn is wonderful to work with and my house looks great, I couldn't have done it without her help.

We were so pleased with our experience with Rice Moriarty Design for our home build project. With Carolyn's help we were able to create a beautiful home while keeping to an aggressive timeline and budget. She guided us through the many details required in building a home including hardware fixtures, flooring choices, light fixtures, counter finishes and paint colors. She was pleasant and professional and she always made time for last minute decision making that comes up during the building process. After we moved in, she helped us with room arrangements and we've hired her for our first decoration project, our family room. I highly recommend Carolyn Moriarty of Rice Moriarty Designs!

Rice Moriarty Design has done numerous projects in our home, ranging from selection of paint colors, wall coverings and upholstery, to design and installation of window treatments. We have been thrilled with all of the projects and the results! Carolyn Moriarty is both talented and patient which is a wonderful combination in a designer. Carolyn has wonderful taste and design sensibilities, but strives to have the finished product reflect our tastes, not hers. Well done, Rice Moriarty Design!!!

Carolyn does an excellent job of working with existing pieces but bringing a different twist to the feel of a room. For instance, she suggested two side tables that I almost gave away to replace my bedside table. I could not believe how perfect in scale and color they were! In the end, she saved me hundreds of dollars while updating my bedroom. I also like her honest and direct approach in decision making.

Caroline was a delight to work with. She listened to what I liked and wanted, & then brought me enough samples that I had plenty of great choices, but was not overwhelmed by too many. She was very flexible, working around my time constraints & deadlines. We did curtains for the family room, kitchen & guest bedroom. We also remade the curtains in my living room. I am very pleased with the quality of the work & the styles that we picked out for each room. Her prices a very reasonable & most importantly, I never had to leave my house to get our jobs done. I am planning on using her again for several other projects.

Carolyn is wonderful to work with! Her recommendations are beautiful and very reasonable. She always picks exactly what I am looking for in a piece. She is prompt and extremely easy to talk to about projects. The vendors she uses also do wonderful work. I am constantly getting complements on my home decorating since I hired Rice Moriarty Design.

We first hired Rice Moriarty Design five years ago when we were doing an addition to our home. Carolyn selected our paint colors, cabinetry, countertops, light fixtures, tile, plumbing fixtures, fireplace surround, bedding, hardwood floor stain and more. She has excellent judgement and attention to detail and has always been a pleasure to work with. We hired her again three years ago to design our daughter's bedroom and it looks darling. She is currently helping us with our living room and dining room and has had a high impact in both rooms: they look very elegant yet comfortable and I have a big smile when I walk into either room. I would recommend her for any type of project on any room in your house!

Carolyn Rice-Moriarty has an incredible vision! She uses her design expertise to create beautiful rooms that compliment the clients taste. She is a pleasure to work with. I always receive compliments on the rooms that Carolyn has designed. I would definitely recommend her!

Rice Moriarty Design was wonderful to work with and right on budget! They helped pick paint colors and lighting in new addition and gave the whole a house a cohesive look. Feeling very overwhelmed with all the choices, Carolyn Moriarty, really focused my attention on the whole look and made picking all the fixtures so much easier. I felt like Carolyn really understood my style and the feel I wanted for the house. She always has her eye out for things that might work in our house. She is full of suggestions and ideas. We very much look forward to working with Rice Moriarty Design in the future.

Commented: I have purchased marble basketweave floo...I would not mix the marble with glass. If you are doing ceramic in the shower than I would suggest white ceramic 3x6 subways on the wall. Maybe do linear marble accent in the subway.
