I was looking for contractor to repair my shower floor because it was leaking down to my kitchen. The plumber said will need a contractor. I google for contractor in Clinton, MD. The website Houzz offered 10 companies it recommended. I selected Nehemiah Construction because they had very good reviews and they stuck to the timeline. I could see some of the work they did. When they started on my shower floor, they explained why the water was coming through ceiling and how they're going to fix the problem. That would require renovating the entire shower. I was giving project manage who helped me to pick out the tile etc. Their team did fantastic job on demo and installing tile. I even asked them to put the same tile around my bathtub. By my surprise they re-center my bathtub and made it easier for me to get in & out of the tub. If I needed anything done Nehemiah construction took care of it in a timely manner. Nehemiah construction kept well inform about they will take to get my project done. My bathroom looks like oasis. Because they did such amazing job with my bathroom at my house. I had Nehemiah construction renovate 3 of the bathrooms at my grandmother house in Silver Spring, MD plus sand down my grandmother floors upstairs. this will be the first time for us to see what her floors look like. I had to inform Nehemiah Construction we were having event at the house in March. They said they could do it and have the bathroom and floor ready for our event. My grandmothers plumbing was bad Nehemiah Construction was able to improve her plumbing and electrical while renovating all the bathroom. Plus they put together 2 of her vanity together. The owner of Nehemiah Construction met me at floor & decor and helped me select tile and floor color. This made my life so much easier. In addition, they recommended installing new window because they were disrepair. I was grateful for their recommendation it made a big difference in looks and appearance. I purchased vanity with sink top they immediately showed it was defected, so I was able to address it with the manufacture. Once I receive the new top they will install it before the event. In addition they cleaned up the bathroom and floor to make it easier for me. As for the bathroom they look amazing at my grandmother's house. Everyone in the family loves the bathrooms. But the biggest surpises was seeing the beautiful hardwood floors. I would highly recommend them for anyone project! They were very professional and got the job done in timely manner!

I had a complete renovation due to a fire. Nehemiah construction built a brand new house from the ground up. The quality was excellent. The project started in the middle of covid so there are many challenges and delays but Nehemiah construction hung in there with me until the job was done. I found Nehemiah Construction LLC thru the recommendation of our neighbor. I saw the work they were performing and was very impressed. I immediately asked Chris for a proposal to do our roofing project. His proposal was accepted, They started as of the date agreed, the project was completed on schedule without any delays. The workmanship was of top notch.

Nehemiah Construction, LLC was very instrumental with helping me restore order back to my home after a storm damaged my patio door and flooded the inside area by the door. I was referred to the company by a family member, and Nehemiah Construction did not disappoint. I reached out to Chris, and within a day or two, he and his staff were at my home to assess the damage. Not only did they assess the damaged area, but also around the home (including roof and siding). He and his staff return a couple days later, to again, make sure that all damaged was assessed. He communicated and kept me informed as to what was to take place and when. He and his staff selected a great door for my family room, and days later, the installation was complete. Nehemiah Construction is amazing and owner Chris Seymour is our new family hero. You may think this statement sounds overly effusive, but he absolutely rescued us from a nightmare another contractor left behind. The original contractor spent months over-promising and under-delivering, leaving us with nothing but the 2x4 framing, partial electrical, plumbing and HVAC rough-ins, and scamming us out of tens of thousands of dollars. We were heartbroken and exhausted. We searched, double-searched, and cross-referenced contractors online and found Nehemiah Construction through Houzz. And after the first call with Chris Seymour, we started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Chris is warm, intelligent, and a professional. His knowledge and understanding of the construction business are vast, while his standard of project management and customer service is non-pareil. His team includes master subcontractors who worked quickly to fix the messes left behind by the prior contractor and created safe, elegantly installed electric, plumbing, and HVAC systems. All of the subcontractors showed up when scheduled and Chris contacted us or came by every day to check on their work. In addition to subcontractors who showed up and delivered, Chris has several quality assurance experts that frequently check in with the project to work with Nehemiah Construction to ensure the highest quality outcomes. I have encountered numerous contractors and home building companies for my business and residence over the past 26 years but I have never had such superior quality of work until I started working with Nehemiah Construction. The CEO Christopher Seymour personally inspects and ensures that all aspects of the project is managed in excellence. From the demolition crew, plumbers, carpenters and each member of his construction team is not only a master of their trade but they explain every detail of what is being done on their work order. I had a massive sewage issue which required my home to be listed uninhabitable. The Nehemiah work crew work diligently to preserve my home. My home passed all county and state inspections, and the utility crew that came was so impressed with who did the work that they offered to even refer them to other customers. I almost want to sell my home so that I am able to hire the Nehemiah team to build me a new home, but my finances will not allow that, but I have the security of knowing that if I have anything that needs addressed in my residence I have finally found a construction company that operates with integrity. As far as my commercial needs on the business side, having a maintenance contract with Nehemiah Construction guarantees that I will have 24 hour service to address any renovations, or maintenance issues that we may encounter.

They came highly recommended from a friend. Recently had them install my EV charger. Prior to that I’ve had them out to go over some work the builder of my house failed to do and give me estimates for correction. I hired contractor to construct an attached two car garage. It turned out they could not finish the job and botched what they started. No one wanted to touch it. Nehemiah Construction did an excellent job replacing the shingles on my roof. I wanted black shingles and they brought me the perfect color it really looks nice. When they were done the men blew and swepted all the trash and took it away with them. They even checked for nails in my grass with some kind of device like a magnet. We have now used Nehemiah on two different projects. The first was a complete roof replacement and the latest was installing new flooring and replace drywall after our hot water heater burst. Chris is very responsive - both times he came out within a day of us reaching out to do an assessment and provide a quote - he then got work started very promptly. Any issues, questions or concerns were addressed in a timely and professional manner. With our flooring project we were dealing with insurance, which is always stress provoking, and Nehemiah were fantastic in getting the information to the insurance company on my behalf. Hannah was amazing with communication and made sure everything was being taken care of. She was polite, friendly, patient and flexible - very helpful. She really made the whole process very easy from start to finish. Every member of the team that worked on the project were friendly and respectful. The floors look great! We are very happy with the work and will definitely be calling Nehemiah for our next home improvement project!

I contacted Nehemiah Construction in September of 2020, after spending about a month doing research into trying to find the right match for the job we needed done on our home. When they showed up in my queue on Houzz, I checked their previous work reviews and they seemed impeccable. Chris came out to provide us with an assessment and immediately noticed the problem: improper (and in some cases, a complete lack of ) installation of waterproof flashing in our Hardywood Board siding as well as the windows. Additionally, all of the wooden window frames (as well as door frame for our rear kitchen door) utilized untreated wood that had a simple coat of latex paint. In short, the entire rear of our condominium was not waterproof, and water was beginning to intrude into the dry wall. Within a week of drawing up and agreeing on a contract, Chris had his team sent out to our house. Scaffolding was erected, and the entire rear side of the house was waterproofed and repaired (and in cases involving the wooden frames, completely replaced) in a single day. I cannot stress how professional and fast this company is! I absolutely recommend doing business with them!

My project was to demo/repair a ceiling in the master bedroom! The work was done with efficiency and quality! The guys came dressed in PPE’s which is a very important Safety measure in the time of a Pandemic (COVID-19)They worked very well with myself the home owner keeping me informed. Nehemiah Construction came to my rescue immediately following a bad experience with previous contractor. The contractor was responsible for demolition and complete renovation for my property within a stated contract start and end date. The contractor performed faulty work and did not comply with the contractural specification of repairs. The contractor focus was merely on price gauging. This went on for over nine months. As a result, I lost several thousand dollars and resulted in delays and non-completion of the project. The work that was paid for was not completed fully and demonstrated poor workmanship. Nehemiah Construction came in at the right time and saved my project from completely failing. The work performed was of the highest quality, and was performed on a consistent and regular basis. Nehemiah Construction did a fantastic job. My home had damage due to a wind storm. Chris dealt with a difficult situation involving my insurance company that resulted in increased funds for our home repair. He and his team took the time to come out to my home twice to walk with the adjuster to show them the problem areas. We were away at the time of the repair and Chris kept us informed of the progress. He made sure to send us pictures of the repair from start to finish. They used quality materials and completed the task on time for the price they quoted. We are so happy we chose Nehemiah Construction. They were easy to reach by phone and always returned our calls and responded to our text messages promptly. They came to our house to evaluate the property. We told them what we wanted and they offered very useful suggestions. They clearly knew what they were doing! We have a family member who uses a wheelchair and we wanted to take out the bathtub and replace it with a walk in shower. They created it flawlessly. They offered suggestions such as the shower niche and grab bar. This made the shower even better. They consistently asked us about our preferences and likes. They wanted to make sure we were happy throughout the process. While shopping, they helped us choose the bathroom floor tile, the shower floor tile, the shower wall tiles and the paint color. Choosing colors and tile designs can take some time but they offered helpful suggestions and were very patient with us while we made our decision. We were very open to anything new and we trusted their choices. Overall the shopping experience was quick, easy and stress free. While working on the bathroom, our furnace stopped working unexpectedly. Nehemiah Construction arranged to have someone come to our house the next day to have it fixed. Finally our bathroom looks amazing. They made the door wider to make it easier for the wheelchair. The paint job is very smooth and they added new wall plates, outlets and light switches. When they were almost done, I had a last minute request for new door hinges and they came through with no problems. We have the bathroom that we want and need. We are very pleased.

Working with Chris and his team was Amazing! He was very professional from the first time we spoke on the phone to when he came to our home to walk through our project area. We immediately felt comfortable with Chris and he seemed extremely knowledgeable about the work we were asking him to perform. He explained his process to us and he gave us a color swatch to pick our colors and set up a time to take us to Floor and Décor to go shopping for our materials for our project. He promised us a start date which due to their schedule was the following Wednesday (better than we could have hoped) and said it would take his team approximately 1 week to complete the project. After hearing horror stories from friends about their similar bathroom remodeling projects taking over a month Chris's one week timeframe was surprising. I am here to tell you by the following week with two days added due to a rotting wood problem they found in our old home’s wall we were happy with the amazing work, the clean up of the area, and the professionalism of Chris and his crew. I have already recommended Chris and his team to three of my co-workers and my Wife has shared it with her's as well as others on social media. You want the job done right, on budget and on time then Chris is your guy! The communication daily was superb and just what we wanted. This has to be hands down the best experience we have had with a contractor and we have been homeowners for quite some time. No sales pressure, no telling you what you want, no fake pricing, everything is upfront and clearly laid out. Chris made us feel we were the only clients he had throughout the entire project.

When starting my project in Washington DC I was initially hesitant with being able to build out and create exactly what I wanted, im a very detail oriented person. My name is Tim Jewell and our kitchen was destroyed from a fire. We were terribly depressed until we met with Chris Seymour. Chris Seymour's upbeat attitude and his team at Nehemiah were outstanding. My wife along with Chris designed our new kitchen from top to bottom. Chris's helped my wife and I pick out materials (cabinets, counter tops, backsplash, sink, flooring etc) that were outstanding in quality and beauty. Nehemiah completelly removed the old damaged kitchen, delivered new materials in a timely fashion, and assembled a 5 star kitchen that my family loves. (please see pictures.

Nehemiah Construction came out listen to our concerns and vision for restoring the bathroom. They even met with us to shop for materials this made the process easy. Once we started the project everything went seamlessly on time. By the end we’re very happy with our new bathroom.

I Called Chris after a business associate of my wife’s recommended him. Chris was friendly and quick to respond and both he and his project foreman Silvio meet with us soon after. The job consisted of removing the old flooring and subfloor in the foyer,kitchen,living and dining rooms. They installed ceramic tile in the kitchen and bamboo in the remaining rooms. The crews were efficient and had the job done within a week. There were a couple of minor things but they were resolved quickly. And they not only gave us the best price of 4 estimates, there were no “surprises”. We actually saved a few hundred dollars because a little too much flooring was ordered. Overall we are very pleased with the final product and would highly recommend them to anyone.

After one meeting with Chris, the owner, we knew this was a company that we could trust and that could get the job done. And they did not disappoint! They were incredibly flexible and the entire crew was hardworking. They worked fast and around the clock (at our discretion, of course). Chris and his team were very approachable and professional. If you're looking for the consummate professional then Nehemiah Construction is the company for you. Earlier this year my townhome was decimated by frozen pipes bursting. Two of the three levels were destroyed and had to be rebuilt. What made the task even more challenging was the fact that I had relocated to another state over 600 miles away. Thank God for Chris Seymour, Nehemiah Construction, and electronic media. What might have been a frustrating and overwhelming experience instead became an enlightening adventure. Chris shares his expertise in construction, architecture, and engineering to make sure his clients walk away with a quality product. In my case, the quality product resulted in my townhome being on the market 48 hours until I received a great offer, contract, and subsequent sale. Since that job, I have called on his company for multiple other jobs at other properties and have continue to receive high accolades on the quality of the work, attention to detail and overall excellent workmanship.

I hired Nehemiah Construction, LLC to redo my basement. I had a lots of water damage and had to redo the entire basement. Mr. Seymour and his construction staff were competent, professional and nice people who worked in my home while I was away and I did not have to worry about anything. He a gave me a reasonable quote and they completed all the work within the budget. He is also a great interior designer. His suggestions were right on. The finished product was beautiful. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Let me start by saying anyone that I alone choose and my husband voluntarily endorses is spectacular. I found Nehemiah Construction LLC on Houzz while browsing for a number of different projects. I was initially impressed by Chris Seymour's prompt reply and willingness to come out and assess the project in a timely manner. There was no pressure or threats of "losing out" if I did not do one thing or another. His can do attitude, kind spirit and congeniality immediately put me at ease. After two meetings it was time for the test, meet my husband. He passed with flying colors :-) We had several long overdue projects including refinishing a balcony immediately over the front entrance, fixing a related leak damaging adjacent ceiling and enhancing the foyer as well as the living and dining rooms with dentil moldings and repainting, and removing the “popcorn ceiling” as well as doing a room addition. There was nothing too big or too small. We decided to go with the small ones first to see if we would indeed be satisfied. It has been 8 weeks since we started and finished(finished May 16, 2018) and we are satisfied. In fact as we have progressed, we have added on tasks, almost as many as I have conjured to help me execute a graduation event and found out in the process how resourceful Chris is. This is an extremely busy time for us and besides the renovations, we have needed to find shippers, caterers, etc. and Mr. Seymour has been a wealth of knowledge and connections. He is a true professional and his team, especially Silvio and Darrell have been equally thoughtful, responsive and attentive to customer satisfaction. Living with construction is far from being tolerable but the consideration in providing assistance with moving things around and with cleaning up after themselves has been phenomenal. No one is perfect, but everyone can help to make a process less daunting and onerous and Nehemiah Construction is such a company. I am very particular, and abhor taking short cuts and lack of attention to details, but no matter what I express doubt or displeasure about, gets remedied real fast. I am so pleased to have met Chris Seymour and his team. In my husband's words . . . "these guys are really good, I would use them again" No small praise coming from a very picky, hard to please critic. The biggest project is yet to come, but undoubtedly, Nehemiah is the contractor of choice. Working with Nehemiah Construction was an amazing experience. The owner was professional, active throughout the whole project and easy to communicate with. He was especially helpful in helping me choose a hardwood floor. The way he helped me understand what was best was an art form. He wasn’t pushy, just knowledgeable.
